We offer freelance proofreading services and can offer guidance in spelling, punctuation and grammar in the English language in any subject or format. This includes checking for typing errors, pagination and consistency.
Hilary Saxby, BLS, MCLIP, AISTD (CDE), is a freelance proofreader and business owner based in Gloucestershire. She will proofread any subject but her varied background is in performing arts, needlecrafts, art, music, Christianity, business management, aerospace engineering, information management and librarianship.
She holds a certificate of competence in proofreading from Chapterhouse Publishing.
Prices start at £10 per 1000 words or £11 per 1000 words if English is your second language. Hourly rate is £10 per hour minimum.
We can quote for a whole job if you prefer, particularly if you have a large document or book. Just let us know the total number of words or the size and format of the document. If you are a publisher please contact us to discuss terms.
