Situated on the A38 between Gloucester and Tewkesbury the "Queens Head" has been in private ownership since 1995. We have built up one of the finest reputations for food and real ales in the Gloucestershire area and further afield.

Well tonight is the night that Millie is sleeping out to raise money and awareness for the homeless especially as the cold months approach.
... Millie will be sleeping out in her clothes and a sleeping bag this evening and we would like to raise as much money as possible in this final push!
This charity helps find accommodation for the homeless, support for families and education!
Any donation would be greatly appreciated in the attempt of trying to make our community great again!

Roast leg of Lamb & Roast Striploin of Beef looking good !!!!
We stumbled across this wee gem of a place last night. The service and food was second to none it was my Wife's birthday and she was so happy � thank you for a wonderful evening and I will recommend to all my friends and family to come and enjoy for themselves �
We came here yesterday for Mother’s Day. This place is fantastic and the new owners are friendly and very welcoming and the food is to die for. Large portions and excellent quality food. 5* We have already booked for next year. Thank you all for a lovely evening.
Visited today for the 1st time with the Mrs,I had the trio of meat from the Sunday lunch menu,the price was very reasonable for what I can only describe as the best roast I’ve ever eaten at a pub..unbelievably tasty and great size portions!! All staff very welcoming and friendly also Nice decor and a lovely atmosphere ,kids under 12 not allowed in so no fear of losing your hearing or your mind from the table next to you�...will definitely be coming back

Longford lamb is to die for good quality food and friendly service.
If we could give this place more than 5* we would. My husband and I called in at 13.00 today, I know Easter Sunday! The staff where amazing, after being told that there wasn't a table until 4pm the landlady asked if we would be happy to sit at the bar. Of course! The barman and landlord chatted to us while we waited so in what seemed no time at all our meal arrived, and what a meal it was, the best Sunday lunch we have ever had anywhere and we eat out a lot. The waiting staff asked a few times if everything was ok. Oh my... if we are ever near Longford again we will certainly book a meal here �
Absolutely amazing food, really lovely service and a fantastic selection of beers and gins. We’re very lucky to have such a great pub and restaurant as our local.
We ate at the Queens Head Longford Gloucester last night with a party of 7. We have been to this lovely friendly pub many times over the years.
The service was friendly and fast.
The food was excellent we enjoyed all the courses. Many thanks to the wonderful chef.
The bar was well stocked with many choices of gins to choose from. The service was once again very good and friendly. The owner even went home to fetch a bottle of Bushmills Whiskey for my husband.
The only problem that i can see is that there are too many tables squashed together in the back room. We had difficulty getting out to go to the toilet. Sometimes it's better to have one less room and make the customers more comfortable.
