The cold weather we have had recently has cause a bit of a shortage with Strawberries. They need bright sunny days to grow and there hasn't been much of that lately so its been difficult for us to find the right quality at the right price. We do have a few Yorkshire grown ones this morning but nowhere near enough. But oddly we have managed to find a FANTASTIC deal on some super Raspberries. Hi Andy Came in to shop with you from my holiday home on Saturday Got a fab cauliflower for 69 pence- it’s massive!... That will go fab with the bargain new potato bags for a pound- how do you do it? Also got some lovely beets to roast and lovely carrots The kids are working their way through the lovely shiny red apples and grapes Your shop really is veg nirvana I get a heavy basket full every time I come in Had to shout my husband from the butchers to help me carry it all! Emergency order this morning to Kilham! After an epic weekend more veg needed. We are always happy to help out. It’s bank holiday and we may not be open in the shop but #whenweareclosedweareopen

What a fabulous evening Tracy and I had last night at the opening night for The Granary at Rustic Riddle at Ulrome The food was absolutely amazing! They are opening now on Friday and Saturday evenings as well of course open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Please give them a visit we can’t wait to go back. They are 90% there with what has been a tremendous renovation project but don’t let that put you off it really is gorgeous and Martyn Shaw you sir are one very very talented chef and we are proud to be your supplier of fresh produce and other items here at Rafters.

The suppliers at the market like to clear out for a Bank Holiday and these Organic Bunched Carrots just look slightly passed their best but I’m sure they would be great for anyone with animals if we said £2 for a box of 10? There are just 15 boxes so if you fancy a box for £2 comment on here and we’ll save you one. Don’t delay these won’t hang about👍

The countdown is on! You’ve told us you need a better choice of Cheese in Driffield and we’ve listened. So on Thursday 9th May we have over 50 different varieties of Cheeses arriving! Another very busy day delivering on The East Coast here we are at Beach Cove at Hornsea Freeport and Bridlington Birds of Prey & Animal Park They are both gearing up for what will hopefully be a busy bank holiday weekend for them. Both fantastic attractions and well worth a visit😀

We have used veg box deliveries before but Rafters is by far the best for freshness, quality and value we are absolutely delighted and will be a regular customer from now on �

Updated review, 2nd yr running with a Christmas from rafters and i would never get them from anywhere else now. Aswell as fantastic fruit and veg plus the staff and delivery drivers are friendly, helpful and overall lovely people �

The fruit and veg boxes are top quality and have the freshest possible produce in them and always a good variety . As well as this, the shop offers local milk at the same price as the supermarkets and much better quality fruit and veg. It is quite simply an excellent independent shop with quality local goods and friendly and helpful staff.

The Comte cheese is amazing, I buy it every week. Try their new cheeses and you will love them. They are sourcing so many good cheeses at the moment, we should support them or we will end up with boring cheddar.

Rafters £10 box is very affordable, and it provides great quality produce for the week. I am a vegetarian, and each week's selection of vegetables and fruit (plus 3 lemons and 6eggs on top) gives me tasty meals and fruity snacks for the week. I supplement this with grains, cheese, and occasional baked goods and spend under £50 a week, some weeks even much less. What appeals to me most about Rafters boxes is the deep fragrant flavour of the products and the local origins of many of the selections, which require fewer food miles and preserve freshness. Rafters deliver ethically grown crops to the door that not only taste wonderful but also support dedicated local farmers and sustainability in agriculture.

Rafters did the flowers for our wedding on July 14th and what can I say! Totally blown away buy the quality and just how you know what I wanted even when I didn't really have a clue! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to everyone! Thank you again! X

I recently ordered a large James White meat box online from Rafters. I cannot believe the freshness and quality of the meat....I will not buy from a supermarket again!

I received my first ever £10 box from Rafters yesterday and I am in love! Great selection of fruit and veg, all fresh and tastes amazing! Couldn't do it for a tenner anywhere else. Plus it was left with a bag over so it didn't get soaked by the rain. Absolutely over the moon and will be a regular box order-er from now on!

I ordered my basket on Wednesday night and a super friendly chap delivered lunch time the next day. Everything is beautiful and fresh and it's nice to shop local. I considered my produce to be great value too

I ordered a flower arrangement for a family funeral last week and as it was the first time I'd ordered from you I really didn't know what to expect but they were absolutely beautiful. Had my delivery yesterday, it is lovely to see the English produce, particularly strawberries and tomatoes, now available. Everything is the best quality and all delivered to my door (Bridlington)

First veg box delivery today by friendly and helpful Barry, kids were straight in there eating everything in sight, super delicious and a bonus that it was majority plastic free! Will definitely be ordering again and recommending, eating well never tasted so good! Thank you!
