Rainbows Pre-School

We had farmer Ian from Longdown activity farm and his animals come to visit us. He told us all about his animals, we got to stroke the donkeys and hold the chicks. Thank you farmer Ian

We had policemen and sniffer dog Yuri from Hampshire police come to visit us. We got to try on the uniform and hats, say hello to the police dog and sit in the police van and car, as well as turning on the sirens and lights.

We had two dental nurses Charlie & Lisa from Oakwood dental practice come and talk to us about looking after our teeth. They showed us how to brush our teeth and we got to try on the masks and glasses they use, as well as being given fun activities to take home with us.

Rainbows will be open as usual today.

Look who came to Rainbows to visit us today. The children enjoyed holding them and were very gentle with them. Thank you to Chloe for bringing them in.

A huge well done to everyone who donated cakes🍰🍩 and all those who came along and made our Macmillan coffee morning ☕️ a success. We banked £226.57p yesterday! Thank you everyone! ⭐️⭐️⭐️🎉

Fab imaginative play going on in the boat today!

The children have had lots of fun with the pumpkins, using their gross motor skills in hammering nails & golf tees into them. Painting them and also sorting them into weight and sizes. Thank you to Eddies grandparents for donating them to us.

The children have been very busy this morning; cooking dinner in our new mud kitchen, drawing on our bunting for our boat & making lots of noise (sorry music) on our music wall!

Tomorrow is our Macmillan coffee morning, we would love to see you, come along and have a coffee, buy some cake and have a natter! 9.15am-12.15pm Cake donations will be gratefully received too!

Our sandpit is now here full of sand for the children to enjoy. A big thank you to Angus's mummy Jo for building it for us. We love it!!
