We ordered the set meze for 2 and it was a great experience to taste all the various dishes. The staff were very attentive and we had a brilliant time. Thank you. We will be back.

The staff were so friendly and engaged with my little girl! The service was really quick and the location is amazing, especially on a summer day!

I was bought the '15 course meze' Groupon deal as a 40th birthday gift in December. My hubby and i went to Raphaels yesterday as a post birthday/Valentines date night and it was really nice. Food was fabulous, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful and the venue itself was lovely. We sat by the window with a view of the lake. It was a bit chilly at first but mainly because it was snowing but once the flame heater was lit it was fine. I would definitely recommend the meze it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.

Had my birthday meal last night with my family it was our first time dining here , great food lovely atmosphere ,very polite helpful staff very good value for money !! Definately recommend and looking forward to going back .

Had a Groupon voucher given at Christmas.

Excellent meal with our friends from Denmark they really enjoyed the whole experience and wonderful staff the food was outstanding and the restaurant was beautiful with the view of the park lovely cocktails. We will be back .

Beautiful location overlooking the park. The service is the best I’ve ever had in England and the food is amazing quality.

After hopping from restaurant to restaurant to try and find the ideal spot for my sisters baby shower, we came across this one and the search ended here. The staff were absolutely lovely! Alper listened and met me at the needs of what we wanted and they came through on the day. The staff closed the restaurant off for us for a few hours, helped set up and were present throughout the whole function ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was quality and so was their service. I'll DEFINITELY be back here again :)

Staff very polite and welcoming, plenty of food and cups of tea.

My first visit here with my neighbour. Had the Meze meal, wow food never stopped arriving at the table. Enjoyed the food very much, certainly would visit again to try other dishes

Had a lovely afternoon with my girlfriends with an afternoon tea but was disappointed that you was only allowed one cup of coffee and had to pay for any more but you could have as much tea no extra cost

An evening out at Raphaels Restaurant was a lovely idea, from friends who live locally. I enjoyed the location, by the lake, although not having been before was a bit confused on finding the way in. The entrance was in Main Road. The staff very friendly and food and drinks good, although the portions are very big , so choose carefully to avoid waste.

My boyfriend and I went for afternoon tea on Saturday. The experience wasn’t as great as I was expecting it to be for a restaurant with 4/5 stars. The scones were good and soft and the view was awesome as well, However our tea came in a clear mug that looked like it was more for beer and the sandwiches and dessert were just ok. As a tourist I value experiences especially since in America we don’t have many places that do afternoon tea. Wish it was better.

Was a little disappointed tbh.

I’m recovering from foot surgery. So hobbling about on crutches. The staff wouldn’t let us park in the car park. Cos apparently it’s for proper disabled people 😡

Food was ok. Very small cakes. Never had an afternoon tea with such small cakes.

This restaurant or cafe in the park shall I say has so much potential, but unfortunately the staff are really rude! Every time I’ve visited with my baby and Mum friends, we’ve been shoved in the corner and made to feel unwelcome. My baby has a dairy, egg and peanut allergy, therefore I bring food with me for him when we go out, but as we were leaving I was rudely spoken to by the staff, shouting that food couldn’t be brought into the restaurant. I explained it was because my baby has allergies and could they accommodate him, the waiter just shrugged and said probably?! Sorry but probably is not good enough for me! Today will definitely be the last time we’ll be visiting. Shame, since it could be such a lovely family restaurant in the gorgeous Raphaels Park.

Can be hit and miss, didn’t have what my friend ordered, and I always feel that the food has been reheated. Some staff not very approachable but one did find a blanket for me as we sat outside with the dog. Some of the food is very good, depends on what you order. The menu has expanded since I was there last but needs reviewing.

Really poor to turn away people with small children who wanted a hot drink and snack - it wasn't even busy and we were told we had to sit outside! Appalling. Get over yourselves. Whoever thought of putting a "proper" (trying to be posh) restaurant slap bang in the middle of a family community park wasn't the brightest spark. Cater to the community and you may have more business. I for one won't be going back. There are nicer places to get a kebab! �
