Have fun designing and creating a rag rug cushion or rug focusing on the Shaggy Technique using a latch hook. It is a great way to upcycle old clothes and make a memory cushion or rug. You can choose from a wide choice of fabrics to get you started. Price includes tuition, some materials and light refreshments.
The cost of the workshop is £30.00 and a non refundable deposit of £10.00 must be paid to reserve your place. All materials, tools, instruction and refreshments ar...e provided. You even get to keep your latch hook tool so you can complete your project in the comfort of your own home. Note you will not finish your cushion on the day.

This workshop is ideal for complete beginners or people who have just purchased a sewing machine and not used one in a long time. You can even bring in your new machine with all its attachments or feel free to use one of ours. You will be shown the basic functionallity and learn how to thread up the machine and bobbin plus lots more hints and tips. You will also complete a basic sewing project to test your new knowledge. This workshop is ideal for complete beginers. The dura...tion of the workshop is 3 hours and costs £25.00 which includes all equipment, materials, tuition and refreshments. The workshops is deliberately kept small to ensure that one to one tuition is provided. You will event take home a small project that you will complete.
