What a wonderful peaceful place to walk the dog. Also good to go rock climbing while getting splashed by the waves. Wonderful pub and cafe to have something to eat. Highly recommand

We visited as teenagers over 25 years ago and revisted recently after getting back together and it is still as magical as it was back then. Would highly recommend very romantic for us and was kucjy enough to watch the sunset.

Unfortunately was only passing through on my walk to Whitstable and didn't have time to explore fully and manage to get the train back to my campsite but was an absolutely beautiful and amazing place from what I saw if it!

So very fortunate to live at the top of the hill. My favourite place to go and celebrate, to think and just gaze. My ashes will be scattered here.

User

Nice place for a walk or bike ride. There is a lovely cafe over the road and a lovely play area for the nippers.

User

Lovely spacious park, with plenty to do. Beautiful views and it's kept very clean.

Me and my family love it here, and will definitely be coming back xx

User

Lovely place for walking, relaxing, and also suitable for family as well

User

Loved the play area, the towers and the little shop over the road. A bit disappointed with the visitors centre being closed down though

User

It's a lovely place to visit when it's nice weather. Signs describing the place are great. It'll be perfect when the visitor centre is open.

Brilliant if, like me, you have children and dogs and want everyone to have a great day out! Great photo opportunities too!

Big car park (40p for 2 hours or £1 all day!) with toilets. We did a 3.6 mile round walk (south, west, north west then east along the coast path.) Towers themselves quite interesting if you like a bit of history. We had a very bright February morning... could be a bit exposed if wet and windy!

Amazing place for a quiet walk. Built in 200ad the place has a lot of history. A stunning child's play area too next to the car park. A little gem, but keep it a secret shhhhhhh.

Absolutely amazing, the atmosphere and ambience of this historical ruin, and laying at the foot of the towers the sun shinning on your face and the sound of the waves... Bliss.

Followed by a beer and grub in the King Ethelbert with my good Friends.... Bliss

A good friend told me of this place. And on such a glorious day our frenchie loved a paddle on the beach. There's a very friendly pub for the family and a super shell fish hut. Will definitely be paying another visit

User

Well worth a visit - very dramatic scenery and my 6 year was keen to have a good look at it, as well as the fact there is a great play area for kids and a pub right beside it!

User

The towers and fort were terrific on the cold foggy morning that I visited. I took a bus from Canterbury and though I enjoy a nice walk, I wish the bus could have dropped me closer. It's a sight I'd not want to miss when visiting this area.

User

Lovely place, great scenery & fresh air, good parking & nice pub to finish the day with, shame about the rise in parking though

User

It was nice historic place which goes back to 200ad, with a Roman garrison

Found a nice pub near by with nice food and very friendly staff
