Riffs Bar Description
Riffs (previously The Butchers Arms) started life as the Tavern Inn way back in the 18 hundreds and was the home of the areas fist Taxi service via Pony and Trap! Its current owners, Andy & Tiggy, rescued the old Arkells pub from closure in 2001 and turned it into the areas premier venue for live music winning UK Music Pub of the Year three times and hosting a multitude of local and international artists.

You would have to pay a lot pf mpney to get a better venue and live acts than this joint. The landlord and landlady do a sterling job of keeping music real for real music fans.

A fantastic bar with great sound, great staff and amazing food which was a very pleasant surprise. I was there for a very special event - That Pedal Show Live. I've been to Riffs many times over the years, and every time been entertained, and well fed and watered. Nice surprised to see my favourite alcohol free beer on sale too. I was driving, and Bavaria gave me that nice feeling of being an adult and "having a beer" while still being totally sober and safe to drive. Recommended!
