Will mention there was few issues with bits but I’m not even gona bother saying anything because I believe if I needed it sorting they would of been there without a doubt. Can’t remember the managers name but she is a nice lady and sorted something with one of the staff that had something stuck in her bum with attitude haha apart from that loved all the evening staff in clubhouse again can’t remember there names but very friendly and funny and is good for kids from 6pm at clubhouse. The magician was quality. I’m coming again without a doubt and I’m sure they will look after us on price again like they did this time. See you soon riviera bay crew �

We visited the park this April and it was very quiet... BUT it was amazing!! The views, pool, nearby beach and onsite entertainment were all amazing!! ����� We have a 2 year old and she was spoilt by all the staff and especially the 6 entertainers!! They were amazing and when it was only our little one in the audience they would ask her what she would like to do and let her meet all 3 charecters! It was her first holiday and she hasn't stopped talking about it since ��

We just want to thank the entertainers so much for making our holiday!! We had such an amazing time that we will definately be back before the end of the year!! ���

We booked this through sun holidays, paid £60 for 4 nights so didn’t expect a lot, but even though the bronze accommodation was very basic and dated, it still exceeded our expectations, the staff and customer service was fantastic, and any small issues we did have were resolved immediately. If you want a cheap getaway in a great location with quick easy access to surrounding towns, then this is the place.

We are a family of 5 with three teenagers, we stayed in one of the new lodges which are amazing value for money, very high end quality in and out, fully equipped with everything we needed and wanted. There are gorgeous views of berry head and a beach (prepare for a steep climb)

The site is slightly dated yes, but very clean.

The staff are great, from the lady in the convenience store to the entertainment staff, they genuinely want you to have a good time and it shows.

The shop isn't as expensive as some reviews claim (4 toilet rolls for 79p did not break my bank!)

The lodges are more expensive, but cheap compared to all other luxury accommodation in the torbay area.

You get what you pay for.

We will be back next year.

You can see what they are trying to do for this park with all the upgrades and I applaud their efforts, it's working.

The holiday park is everything you'd expect and more! The entertainment is amazing! I speak as a 20-something year old with my similar aged partner and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! Would definitely come again! ❤️

Stop here for May half term in a silver chalet. Accommodation was perfect apart from the shower as the water went cold quite quickly. Would definitely recommend and would stay again

Myself and my 2 teenage children returned from our holiday at Riviera Bay today. We stayed in Silver accommodation with a sea view. The room was clean and tidy on arrival, sufficient space for the 3 of us for a couple of nights. In the daytime we went off exploring Dartmouth, Paignton, Torquay and surrounding areas. Evenings were spent at the clubhouse watching the in house entertainment. My check in was quick and easy, Reception staff were polite, the accommodation was more than suitable for my requirements, and the entertainments team were fantastic (I don’t think any of us realise how hard they work to keep us all entertained.) I would like to thank everybody involved for making our stay so fantastic. I would especially like to thank Rachel. She took the time after the shows to come to our table and sit and have a little laugh and a joke with us, it might seem like a small gesture...but it left a big impression on us. A holiday for me is about quality time with children, I’m not saying Riviera Bay is going to be everybody’s cup of tea...but it’s certainly mine and my kids.

Just got back from a 4night stay, we visit every year and had a fantastic holiday all staff were fantastic with our 4year old son he really enjoyed the morning playtime and the evening activities everyone was so friendly. Look forward to visiting again soon �

I booked this holiday last minute to get away. Such an easy booking experience. Once I arrived staff were very helpful and check in was quick and easy. The chalet I had was in a perfect location over looking the beach which was an amazing view. Lovely coastal walks to take the dogs on and they too loved trips down to the beach. A member of staff called by during my week to check everything was ok with my stay which I thought was very nice. The chalet was clean, comfortable and spacious. Me and my dogs had a lovely holiday with you at riviera bay and will definitely be booking again �

I booked this as a cheap last minute holiday for 4 of us and our dog. I knew it wasn't 5 star accommodation as we had the dog. When we got there the reception staff were very welcoming and as we were early we went to the beach. Fabulous beach and views but a nightmare to get down to it which meant we only went once. The accommodation was satisfactory for what we wanted. Somewhere to lay our heads and have a wash. On the surface it was clean, the bathroom could've done with a better clean but it was ok. Our son and my Mum slept in the single beds in bedroom which were comfortable and the had the sofa bed in lounge which wasn't actually too bad. The site itself was clean and tidy and grounds keepers cutting grass, repairing pot holes and painting tending to plants etc. Inside the main entertainment was great big area with amusements, shop (good prices) takeaway, restaurant, pool and entertainment room. The pool was ok we visited everyday. The entertainment staff are fab they work tirelessly to keep the kids happy. Tara and her team were brilliant. All in all we had a brilliant brilliant holiday and are so sad to be home now. It was a shame to hear people moaning about the place and to say it is all being ripped down. We had a wonderful time Thank you Riviera Bay �

Had a lovely time here for the past 4 days my kids loved it and we all had a fantastic time will definitely be going again, my son broke his finger and the manager was there to help all so kind and friendly thank u for our nice stay and we all loved the movies outside last night xxx

Been coming back and forth here since 2012! Love it every time I come, I have brought various family members with me. The food in restaurant has always been stunning. The rooms have always been clean I've stayed in bronze, silver and Gold, with dog and without dog. The beach may be a long walk and a tiring but the views are worth it and it's lovely when you get down there. Plenty of things to do here including pool, arcades, tenpin bowling and a 20 min walk to beach which we always go down, end up crabbing which all of us love!

The park could do with some updating but it's a cheap little family holiday with something for everyone. I honestly think the entertainment is better than other parks such as park dean etc.

Another amazing weekend, huge thanks to the very talented Tara and her Fabulous team for making my little girls holuday so special. See you soon xxxx

Amazing time here, we had beautiful weather and beautiful views of the ocean,, the reception team was amazing, always smiling and very helpful, the restaurant times was confusing as one person was telling us food is available till 10pm, then someone else telling us they close earlier, little one loved the arcade but the sign said no attendant is available from 9pm, we was there before that and the ticket shop was already closed, all in all We had a fabulous time and we will definitely be back, special shout out to reception ladies and dave (maintenence man) aswell, thankyou Riviera bay.

Absolutely fantastic holiday we stayed in the coastal path cottage.

Very homely and welcoming the kitchen was a little dated but every think you needed in it to make your stay comfortable.

Evening entertainment was fantastic all week everyone made us feel welcome.

We will deafly be booking up again for next year and I would highly recommend the cottage to anyone asking.

There were some great views from the cottage window and also overlooking the rest of the park.

I cannot comment on any other accommodation on the park as I did not stay in any of them or go in to any.

we spent a week down here from the 15th September intill yesterday 22nd we all enjoyed our stay yes the food/drink was expensive the pool was cold on times but still managed to stay in there my 7 and 17 year old loved it the staff in the club house worked hard to put on shows every nite kids entertainment could b longer and the bingo could b cheaper a pound a strip or 1.50 is ideal the views was amazing theres not much to do on site but u got bixham harbour we went into paignton and torquay though the day the chalets was clean i brought my own cutlery plates cups and cleaning things the curtain on the doors kept falling off but I fixed it I did go up to the lady in cleaning and lent a hoover Thursday has i wanted to make sure everything was spotless b4 we left i doubt the cleaner had too do our chalet lol b24 we stayed we will defo b bk nxt year xx

Were Happy with Riviera Bay..Basic Chalets for in and out..dog friendly..quiet park. Ideal for out of the way of towns etc..but buses and easy routes to explore. Lovely views to wake up to with great Coastal paths for those that enjoy..not good for disabled wheelchairs or pushchairs down those paths though. Nice restaurant and lovely staff. Always very welcoming..3rd time here never a problem and we will be back again..Thank you !

Well just came back from here and too be honest it really wasn't as bad as these reviews from other people make it out to be.... yes the chalets are outdated but ours was clean and perfect Base. . ....after reading these reviews I was worried about what we would find all I will say is don't be put off by some of these reviews.. in the end you get what you pay for... we will be returning..

We have stayed at Riviera Bay several times and have always been reasonably happy with the accommodation. You do get what you pay for. We are booked again for September

The first time we stayed we needed to use the pull out sofa bed, wasn't too uncomfortable for sleep, but we have found there is no support for sitting, and we have found this several times.

To be honest, we cannot complain about much else, it is a great base.

The food is good in the restaurant, service and staff are great.

I would recommend it to anyone, great for families.

Ok - I just want to say if you're a snob, grumble at paying more than £5 for two drinks or scared of a few cobwebs then unfortunately this isn't the holiday for you. However if you're looking for a place to bring your dog, explore local seaside towns and get your head down for a few nights well I highly recommend. We have had a fabulous break here, 3 nights in a bronze chalet. It is basic but what do people expect? We have spent most of our time exploring the local areas. Evening entertainment and staff are great not really sure what people expect? We're a young couple with a dog and have enjoyed it our bargain holiday thank you! Don't let the bad reviews put you off!

Not the Hilton by any standard but i knew that when i booked! Basic accomodation that had a few cobwebs in the nooks n crannies lol but overall it was clean and comfortable and to be fair we didnt intend to spend 24/7 in the chalets anyway. We asked for our 2 families to be next to each other and we got that. The harbour town is lovely and planty to do from crabbing or boat trips all over!. Staff go the extra mile very friendly and hard working. Please walk the costal path (not for the faint hearted as steep) but the hidden treasure of the cove so worth it. My only negative would be i paid to check in early so would have expected the chalets to be cleaned to a higher standard but not bad enough to worry about. All in all a lovely week and although very basic chalets it didnt stop us having a lovely week.

Love this park so much.. A beautiful area and chalet ok for what we want. Sleeping and eating. Kids club here great but disappointed that staff were on holiday... Shouldn't affect our stay... Also entertainment at night is barely on for 45 mins.... I think we could expect a 40 minute set then a 10 minute interval then another 40mins..

Then you day the bars open! No entertainment and few draught beers abs pricey at that...shame :-(

I booked a bronze accommodation- very small size for 6 ! sofa bed not comfortable at all decorated very dated draws broken wardrobes had a high damp smell . Very small tv 19 inch no DVD player . Where we where located was ideal 3 kids and a dog next to everything coastal walk ( couldn’t do as to muddy & rain ) next to kids park ( but only one swing )& is aimed at 4-7 at a push, also next to swimming pool but it was cold !! & only 1 shower ( which extremely hot not suitable for young children) did have warning � signs up only 4 changing rooms and only fits one size 6 person . no floats no music no good vibes . Life guards stood like bouncers � The entertainment we checked in at 4 put our tea on asap went to watch loopy at 6 ‘ my son is 5 and seen him at dawlish summer 2017 unfortunately it was the exact same performance as was the morning for making crispy cakes .( so we didn’t go ) we took the the kids woodlands for the whole day and had a blast . We left a night early . Purely for the fact at home we have a bigger tv and we can all sit on the sofa as family! I did find the timings of things random such as swimming sessions 10-12 & 2-4.45 and the shop opening closing times . This place is ideal for the peaceful children who do not adventure parks and wants to read a book . Not really much to do on site even worse when weather is bad . I asked a member of staff if I could take a picture of him with loopy & they rudely said no ? Asked another she didn’t know what was going on . We watched loopy before we went home as he’s on at 6 and finishes at 6.20 & glad we did as there was a photo opportunity.( not mentioned at all ?) we really enjoyed the bowling’and was extremely cheap & good fun . Take cash chargeable machine and card limit of £5 . I went to this place 11 years ago with my mum and no updates have been added apart from the bubbles turned of at swimming and it now not heated . I think even if the weather had been beautiful there isn’t much to do on site or anything to do local. We as family loved park holidays at dawlish massive sofa & bed per person big tv with DVD player & DVD’s car parked outside or place massive park loads of local things to do within walking distance . My children are 5,7,11 . Hope this helps any family decision to book or not to book .

Arrived at 8 o’clock Friday evening and back home to South Wales by midday Saturday , sorry but the chalets are dreadful

Well what can I say got here to be meet by a building site . Got my key walked in the door to be meet by the smell of piss so back to be moved to another one which was just as bad so back again to reception to be moved again try to cook but the smoke alarm kept going off so had to put food in the bin so that was a waste of money . Watched some telly if u could call it a tv it was so small & then we try to get some sleep which didn't go well as the bed had more springs then Zimadee next morning had a shower with all the mouldy think I felt dirty getting out then when I got In open the door to go outside & there was dog poo right outside my door the only thing that could do with this place to make it better is a bulldozer. Wouldn't let my worse enemy say here was back to reception & told them to move me to landscove which is part of the some group which is a caravan park & it beautiful I most say I feel sorry for the girls on reception & they did move me that's the only good thing I could say !!!

Well firstly they placed two adults a 7 year old and two dogs in a one room chalet after establishing that I had booked a two bed chalet they tried to blame hoseason finally after admitting it and not allowing me to change rooms til Tuesday wasting two days holiday they believe that £20 is acceptable with a box of chocolates as an apology after a full night no sleep and not actually getting my items unpacked til Tuesday afternoon they've simply told me now to contact hoseason if I'm not happy. I wasn't expecting the Ritz and the apartment that we are now in is totally reasonable dated but I have no quibble about that I'm just angry that I was messed about so much.

Well all I have to say if they look after the place as badly as they do there employees since the takeover this place will be out of business in the next working year. After 20 years of working there my mum was bullied by the new bosses royally taken the piss out of and then screwed over on wages and holiday pay.

We booked a bronze chalet and expected it to be basic. When we checked in the chalet smelt horrible and it was absolutely filthy! Very out dated and very uncomfortable. The windows were dirty, the front of the building had endless amounts of cigarette nubs and rusty hand rails. We arrived quite late when we arrived and was hungry so we decided to eat at the club's restaurant, again it's very out dated and the cost of the food was way too much, I ordered a cheese burger and it came to me burnt. There is also no where near enough parking here. We were supposed to be staying untill Monday but left early. I trusted the parks website to tell us how nice it was and should of read the reviews properly, don't be fooled like I was, the only thing that's nice here are the views. Will defiantly not be coming here again unless something drastic happens and would not recommend this place to anybody!!!

Honestly the Worst accommodation I've ever seen! Dirty ripped carpets a cooker that you wouldn't of even wanted your food anywhere near!! A bath full of mould and no where to put the baby's cot even after double checking with reception twice before arrival she could 100% be in our room!! ... when I went to complain we was told we could have the room deep cleaned again so we went out and let them clean... well we walked back into the same absolute dive we left.. not on atall... the only one decent thing about this place was the arcade & ben from the entertainment staff he actually made our holiday!!... we spent one night here and I took it upon myself to go too the holiday park next door and explain we was so unhappy luckily they was absolutely amazing and said you can move here right away!!! We had an amazing holiday from that moment onwards staying in landscove!! And bonus ben works there too! Well done that man if it wasn't for him & the accommodation change we would of gone home!!! Honestly read these reviews before you go and believe them we thought they would just be snobs over reacting but NO NO NO it's all true nasty place!! ��

Don't book here if you are a veteran as the new manager is a bully and likes to intimidate a gentleman that has served his country and was blown up and suffered horrific injuries. This new manager has stopped this veteran's medical post putting on vital appointments return to sender. The couple who have brightened their lodge with plants, over the years that they have stayed there, these plants that are beautiful and well looked after as a therapy for this wonderful couple are being threatened with being removed. Previous managers didn't have any issues and actually welcomed this veteran! Please boycott and tell park why and explain that veterans should be respected not bullied and harassed! Thank you.
