Have you ever seen a Tardis at a wedding?? Doctor Who fan's Roberta and Mike made their day totally unique with a custom built Tardis as a focal point beside our grand staircase. The guests were amazed!

As far as Wedding Entertainment goes, we have to say that the Silver Service Singers - Singing Waiters are one of our favourites, and they really are true professionals.
They blend in, pretending to be part of our team, and then when you least expect it these 'undercover singers' make themselves known....! Fabulous fun!

Today for the Wedding Ceremony, our Ballroom was set up for 120 guests, and looked just divine! Congratulations Gemma and Euan.

We had to share these two epic photographs, by one of our recommended photographers leehatherallphotography . Both were taken at our venues, Coombe Lodge at Blagdon and Rockbeare Manor, and Lee was awarded two International Print Merits with the 'Master Photographers Association. Amazing job!

When a couple fill their wedding day with lots of personal quirks we just love it ! Clemency and Chris got engaged whist on an Alpaca walk, and generally just adore these friendly animals, so their day wouldn't have been the same without them.

Where do I begin...the day we came to visit Rockbeare Manor we were blown away! The building is absolutely stunning inside and out. We had been looking for ‘The perfect wedding venue’ and couldn’t find what we were looking for. When we walked in to the building, we knew straight away that this was the right place for us, I think the prosecco and brownies on arrival might have played a part in that. Every room we walked into was beautiful and we knew it was just right. The venue is light, bright and airy with very elegant features. Helen showed us round the building and answered all our questions, the service has been five star from day one!



We visited the venue on a number of occasions for planning meetings, food tasting and to show family and friends. We could visit as many times as we wanted, and we definitely did that! I didn’t think I could fall in love with a building but I felt attached.



There’s one person that we can’t thank enough, Stephanie! From the minute we were told that Stephanie was going to help organise our big day we felt completely at ease because this woman is amazing! (I’m feeling so emotional writing this) In the run up to the wedding she answered all my emails (even though there were a lot) and gave great advice a long the way. Our wedding day was unbelievable!! The service and organisation was excellent. Stephanie ran around helping to sort last minute bits and kept checking that we were ok, asking if there was anything we needed. I called her wonder woman for the day because she literally was! She stayed up until 2am with us and was up early ready to sort out a fantastic breakfast. Our day wouldn’t have been so perfect if it wasn’t for her! Thank you so much!

We had our wedding reception at Rockbeare Manor on the 10th June 2017 and can honestly say we had a 5*experience from start to finish. Aimee, Andy and their team were exceptional throughout the build up to the day itself, ensuring everything went smoothly and we felt really special. The food is to a very high standard which all our guests commented on and it's great to have a large choice of drinks selection to suit individual needs. The venue is stunning and we occupied the 12 rooms which are beautiful and it felt like our own house rather than a hotel. We would definitely recommend Rockbeare Manor!!!

We had our wedding on the 28th October at Rockbeare Manor and we truly had the most amazing day possible. From the first moment we saw the venue and met the team we both knew this was the place for us, other venues just couldn’t match up! Not only is the Manor House simply stunning but the grounds are beautiful too. All of our guests commented on how special the venue was.



From start to finish the Rockbeare team provided great service and we’re always happy to help/advise and answer queries. All the staff were very incredibly friendly, happy and professional which helped make the day go perfectly. Special thanks go out to Simone for all you’re help over the 2 days, she really couldn’t of done enough for us.



The food was absolutely delicious too, we certainly would recommend the beef along with the burgers for the evening food. The burgers went down a storm, we still have guests talking about them now, they we’re absolutely delicious!



All our guests had a fabulous time and the newly renovated rooms to stay over were simply stunning! We would recommend this place to anyone, it was the perfect venue for our dream wedding and can't thank you all enough.



If you are planning a wedding at this fantastic venue, you certainly won't be disappointed. We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast the following morning with all our other guests which was a great way to finish off a magical weekend.



Thank you again so much for an incredible wedding day, it’s a day which we will cherish and remember forever.

We had our wedding here last month and wow what a truly amazing venue! We knew we wanted to get married here as soon as we saw it it's just a stunning building inside and out that's been finished to such a high standard. Thanks to Aimée and Andy the day ran so smoothly and the staff couldn't do enough for you a massive thanks to all of you for all your hard work!

Everyone commented on how delicious all the food was - from the 3 course meal to the burgers and chips in the evening and the ice cream tricycle was a massive hit!

The day from start to finish was just perfect and we're so glad we chose to get married here I can't recommend it enough

We had our wedding at Rockbeare in October.From the very beginning Aimee and her team looked after us and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble.

On the day Stephanie excelled and looked after us and our guests so well.She was always one step ahead and was there late into the early hours and was up bright and breezy looking after us the following morning,still smiling!She made us feel like nothing was too much trouble and I know the guests really felt that she was a credit to the team.

The food we dined on was delicious.We had the sharing platters,which was extremely sociable and meant guests could choose what they wanted to eat and they could then have as much or as little as they wanted of each dish.Many guests commented that it was the best food they have eaten at a wedding reception.

From start to finish we were so well looked after.It couldn’t have been more perfect.Thank you all at Rockbeare Manor!

Rockbeare Manor was the first (and only) wedding venue we looked at and from the moment we walked through the doors, we knew we wanted to have our wedding there and reserved the date there and then to avoid missing out!

The communication and planning with all staff members we encountered was prompt and nothing was too much trouble.

On the day itself Davy ran the day smoothly and efficiently making for a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable time for everyone!

All the food was of a very high standard and we can't praise the chefs and waiting staff highly enough for it, it was very much appreciated by ourselves and all the guests.

Being able to stay in the manor was so special and all the rooms are stunning. Having breakfast with everyone in the morning was such a lovely end to the wedding weekend and the way the room was decorated made it even more amazing!

We can't thank all the staff enough for making our wedding day run so smoothly we had such an amazing time, just a shame it flies by so quickly!

Myself and my partner had our wedding here in April and it was amazing. The staff couldn't do enough for us, and made us feel so comfortable. The venue is stunning and the food was the best food we have ever tasted. ( wish we could just book to go for a meal, yum.)

My wife and I married at Rockbeare at the beginning of September and we had a day that we will never forget! After looking around at other venues, Rockbeare was the one place that had everything that we was looking for! The Manor House is beautiful and the grounds are stunning. All of our guests commented on what a special venue it is. The staff at the venue I cannot compliment highly enough especially Stephanie who was so helpful before and on the day, from the professional service to the little magical tweaks.

The food was was absolutely delicious and all dietary requirements for our guests were no problem at all.

At the end of the night after a long day to be able to stay in such beautiful and elegant rooms really is the icing on the cake.

My wife and I had an amazing wedding on 30 March 2018. Davey and his team were incredibly helpful whilst not being overbearing. Was a rainy day but location was beautiful and food was great!

My husband and I was married at rockbeare on the 11th August 2017. Before I even set foot in the building I knew this magical place was going to be the back drop for our perfect day and looking back now....it wasn't just perfect, it was magical, breath taking and quite literally the best day of both of our lives! The team at rockbeare manor went above and beyond the call of duty. We were made to feel like we were the king and queen of the manor! Nothing was too much and everything was tended to in such a way that the whole day ran so smoothly (bar our coach of guests getting stuck on the m5 motor way) Since our day I have spoken to most of the guests and everyone of them complemented the venue and the food and how perfect the day was!! We can't thank rockbeare enough for letting us host our wedding and to anyone thinking of booking this place.......DO IT NOW! You sure as hell won't regret it! �

My husband and I got married and held our reception at Rockbeare Manor on the 9th September 2017 and we couldn't have been happier with this venue. Not only is the Manor House beautiful but the service from Aimee, Andy and everyone else was excellent. Aimee went above and beyond on the day and seemed to magically appear when we needed something. Food was excellent and all our guest commented on how tasty it was and how lovely the venue was. Very highly recommended. Thank you all.

My daughter and Son in-law got married at Rockbeare Manor on Saturday 18th March, Every detail to their beautiful day was faultless, thanks to Andrew and Aimee and all their amazing staff, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were made to feel so comfortable, Everyone who attended the day, felt it was very relaxed and warming. We couldn't praise the staff enough for all their kindness and helpfulness, The food was excellent, just couldn't get enough of it, fantastic idea serving burgers in boxes, everyone loved them. The beautiful surroundings added to the beauty of it all.

Mr and Mrs murray :- Myself and my new husband got married and had the most amazing reception at the lovely Rockbeare manor. It was so exciting to know we were the first couple to book this venue and we will cherish this forever. From the first visit we knew this was the venue for us, the work that has been done to make this the dream wedding venue has truly paid off and this was the case for us. Our guests still continue to talk about how amazing the venue , service, food , wedding was :). From the initial booking up to the big day the service was first class, we were always made very welcome when we visited the venue. On the day we were greeted with smiling faces , drinks and the staff couldn't do enough. The getting ready room for the girls and boys worked brilliantly and it was so beautiful for photos. Onto the arrival after our church service and we knew then we could relax and enjoy our day as the team had everything in hand from arrival drinks to the evening reception. We also had a day event and it was such a beautiful day, the bbq and afternoon tea was so delicious. I can't thank you all enough for helping to make this the best day of our lives. XxxxxxxX
