Thank you to everyone tonight who came to the Rumshack first and Last under 18’s event. For those of you who came with good intentions and respect we truly appreciate you coming and hope that although the night was cut short you had a wonderful time. Unfortunately multiple large groups of young people arrived intoxicated, and were refused entry, and proceeded to turn their focus on antisocial behaviour in the town centre.
We would like to stress that we had all procedures in... place to ensure the safety of everyone attending and that we had no trouble in the venue whatsoever. And that all claimed occurrences took place in the town by the groups that decided to turn up intoxicated.
We decided to throw an under 18’s event to supply an area where young people could be occupied and entertained for a few hours.
We apologise to all the young people, parents and Businesses that have suffered from the sheer mass of unruly youngsters that so devastatingly effected our town.
We did not profit from this event as entry fee was to cover the costs of staff and security.
But unfortunately due to the actions of a few, we have no option but to cancel all future under 18’s events.

A new addition to our rum collection, Ryoma 7 Year Old Japanese rum!
The sugarcane used to make the Ryoma is grown by the oldest sugarcane farm in Japan.
... After distillation, it rests for 7 years in oak barrels. It's full of rich vanilla and caramel notes that fans of Caribbean rum will find familiar and delicious.
