Brilliant campsite smack in the middle of Dartmoor. You can't do better for the money - such a bargain! Its just the right size too - not too big or small and the facilities are bang on... Just what's needed.
The pitches are varied to accommodate a big tent with your car beside, or little tucked away pitches closer to the river. Brill!
Great to wake up to the sound of the little stream and enjoy evenings beside the campfire looking up at the stars. Very relaxed atmosphere and no stuffy 'rules and regs' that you can get at so many other campsites.
Access to all the best parts of Dartmoor is so easy from Runnage Farm on foot, bike or by car.
Definitely coming back every time I stay on Dartmoor...

This campsite on a working farm is fantastic. Good facilities, peaceful surroundings, helpful owners and very reasonable price. I was travelling alone so it was great to be charged only for single occupancy rather than 2 people as many campsites do! Some basic foodstuffs on sale if you need it. Postbridge is just up the road and has a pub and an information centre with very helpful staff. Definitely going back!
One of our favourite sites. Always worth the trek even of the weather's poor. Peaceful setting amidst streams, wildlife, ponies and great hiking routes. Fires and BBQs allowed when we've been. Lovely villages nearby, the odd fresh water pool for wild swimming, and fantastic panoramas. Basic amenities and helpful friendly owners. Will always go back.
Nice friendly campsite, campfires allowed in fire pits and dogs allowed.
Small shop for essentials and firewood.
Very reasonable camping fees, and showers and toilets close to camping area.
My dogs loved it as did I.
Brilliant for treks and cycling a must go but it is very basic but as long as you are not glamping you will have the time of your life say hi to all the people and the dog Zak !!!!!!

very friendly owners, the barn for camping was just as described on their website, the area is outstanding for natural beauty.
