About Rural Running Events
Rural Running was set up in 2015 to organise running events in and around Fareham, Hampshire.
Rural Running Events Description
Rural Running is a local company, organising running events in the Fareham area. During 2016 we were able to donate nearly £2000 to Guide Dogs as part of a 'Name a Puppy' scheme. Our chosen charity for 2017 is The Rowans Hospice. We have a number of events organised which will hopefully enable us to donate even more to them as well as meet our Name a Puppy fundraising target.

What better way to finish a race than with a medal and a freshly cooked hot bacon roll! Run either the 5k or the 10k and help raise money for the Alex Wardle Foundation.
Run around the Twixmas / Fareham Creek course, taking in views across Fareham Creek.
After the success of the 2018 Hundred Acres Summer XC event, we have launched the 2019 Summer XC Series. There will be a winners trophy in each race, as well as a 'Best Improver' trophy over the series of 4 races.

Medal Reveal time 😃
Our 70 km in 70 days challenge starts on 1st September and runs until the 10th November. Celebrating 70 years of the best health service in the world. We are supporting the Special Care Baby Unit at Portsmouths QA Hospital with this race. Are you in?

We have had to make a late, but small, change to the the route for tomorrows Wickham 10k route. It is now ALL road.

Holidays are important, so we have now decided that you don't have to miss out on our medals, just because you are on holiday.
Enter any of our races, inform us no later than 7 days before the race, and you can run the race in your own time, as long as it is run as the complete distance :-)
Yes, you WILL get the medal, and if you want, you can even run with your original race bib :-)
