The manager Kev was absolutely excellent in dealing with my coinstar issue today, even when I was feeling quite frustrated. Five stars to kev for his kindness and positivity

The cafe is really spacious, with chairs or sofas (and cafe tables, dining tables or coffee tables) to choose from, above the bustle but with views over Portswood Road, and the staff are very friendly.

Super big breakfast! Fast service!! 👍❤️

Popped in earlier for a hot chocolate with my little girl (3 years old) she was not looking where she was going and walked into one of the metal posts on the way out she had slight split on her head I went straight to the cafe to ask for first aid as it was dripping with blood and they were amazing got a first aider and a lady from the cafe (didn’t catch her name) came and spoke to me and my little girl whilst we were waiting they steri-stripped it up gave me the rest of the box incase more was needed and she also very kindly went and got my little one some sweets for being so brave and her sister which was so lovely and my little girl was made up! A big thank you to the people who helped clean up my little girls head, it safe to say she won’t be put off going to sainsburys anytime soon thanks to the lovely caring staff at this store!

I love the whole experience of going to Sainsbury's at Portswood never too busy to do shopping and the Isles are wide and comfortable to walk around even when it's busy you never have to wait too long at the till my first experience of going to the cafe was a good one as I wanted a frappe and the staff wasn't quite sure how to make it but she tried and it wasn't bad the only thing I could say is that she made loads and I wished I had more I would like to see more Frappe's on the menu list more so for the summer months as if this is iced frappe. Great value.

I have had deliveries from js Portswood . for some time now and within this time the service has been OUTSTANDING , nothing has been too much trouble .much appreciated to one and all x

We went up in the restaurant yesterday why haven't they got two people serving on the counter every time I go in the restaurant it's the same you got to queue up for 15 minutes to get served. You can't blame the staff it's the management they seem to be to laid back.

The escalator/travelator needs sorting out properly, it’s always out of order one way. Staff on tills lovely but staff on customer services not as helpful as those at Hedge End

Shop part is ok. Cafe very average. Mega brunch is very inappropriately named.

Sat indoors awaiting our @Sainsburys order to be delivered. Got the fam coming over tonight. Delivery expected between 6-7. 6:50, my phone rings. "hello miss Cummins, sorry but we've had a no show driver so we can't bring your shopping" whaaaaaat!!!! So now, whilst the cousins are on their way to my house, I am on my way to Sainsburys to pick up my order. My question is, how does did it take them 50 mins to realise their driver hadn't turned up?!?? Fuming is an understatement!!! ���

The staff in the cafe were really off hand and moaned about everything. So let's hope they hear up soon!

Who are your fire marshalls and where were they we drove out of the basement car park nobody new what was going on
