Thank you to the staff this afternoon. My elderly mother was shopping and had a minor accident damaging her little toe but because of the medication she takes she ended up bleeding a lot.... The staff were quick efficient and very friendly to her. My own daughter was shopping with her and she told me Ben and Nathan were on hand and stopped the bleeding along with the help of two other staff...you were all so kind to her. The service was first class... All done on busy Saturday afternoon. Well done to you all.

Just before 10pm on Friday I realised my credit card was missing. After a bag and purse clear out I worked out I last used it in Sainsbury’s at Alton a couple of days before. Phoned at 10.02 (not expecting anyone to answer) got to speak to Denise who took my details and said she would try and find out if my card was there but that she might not be able to speak to anyone until the morning. Less than 5 minutes later she phoned back to let me know my card was at the store and that she didn’t want me to worry overnight. This is what I call FANTASTIC customer service and thank you Denise Ayres (team leader gave me surname , hope spelt correctly), thanks to you one less thing to worry about

I went into Sainsbury’s Alton this morning. I got chatting to one of your colleagues Paula crook. I mentioned that my daughter was going into hospital tomorrow for an mri and that I was looking for a colouring book and bits and bobs to distract her from the needles and the fact she had to miss lunch. This afternoon I received a message from Paula saying could I bring my daughter in as she had a little something for her. I of course took her in and Paula had so very kindly got my daughter a colouring book and pens!!! She was so grateful as was I! She went above and beyond. Thank you so much. She has already started colouring it in!

I visited Sainsburys, Alton store this morning for my pre Christmas shop, (a day I usually dread). I was extremely impressed with how well they were organised for the huge crowds who were doing the same as me. There were lots of extra staff busy helping and re-stocking shelves, all with a smile.

Thank you for helping my shopping go so much better than expected.

Well done and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

A big thank you to the lady who's served me today in the petrol station, Unknown to me I paid for petrol with what I thought was a single £20 note it ended up being 2 because they where wet and stuck together.

I left station and parked in carpark for a cuppa, we where a group of quad riders, your cashier mentioned this to another member and subsequently I went back to collect my wet £20 note so a big thank you to this lady and her honesty 5 star employee

after spending 5 minutes trying to sort out the pricing on Golden Granulated sugar (no staff to be seen) I gave up and went to the till to find 5 members of staff standing around being stupid mucking about with a mobile phone with a chap attempting to hang flags. No wonder customers are migrating to Aldi, M&S, Waitrose etc. We have

Mentioned the situation to the till operator who answered and I quote " Its alway like that in here" I said I know that why we shop elsewhere normally .

For goodness sake Sainsbury's supervise and train your staff to work

This afternoon my husband returned to his car in the ground floor area of your multistory car park and discovered his car had been keyed very badly. He went back into the store to ask about CCTV to find who had done this and was told we all park "at our own risk." Now, forget for a moment this is a disgusting act of vandalism, what happens if a car hits someone in the car park, someone is assaulted, etc. This is a disgrace Sainsburys and you need to sort this, you are happy to fine people £80 for being over 2 hours in your car park or have plenty of CCTV inside your store, but you don't want to protect your customers in your own car park? Disgusting and quite frankly, we won't be shopping with you any more, there is plenty of food shopping choice in Alton with open and well lit parking, and I choose to shop elsewhere from now on.

The Scottish lady who works on the kiosk counter I the Alton branch needs to change her attitude. Each morning she's a real grump throws change back at me huffs and puffs all the time. Very rude lady.

Really poor customer service! Tried to find out if a product was available to either collect or order in to the store and the person said they couldn't help me. They spent 10 mins explaining that they didn't know how to order items in, they don't know if they had it, and told me none else did either. When I asked to speak to manager to see if they could find out for me they basically put the phone down and never came back! i cannot believe they be so untrained when dealing with the public, just shocking and rude to treat a customer in such a poor way!

People were forcibly removed from the store this evening at 6:50PM, 10 minutes prior to the advertised closing time.

To top things off anybody else showing up to do a quick last minute shop this year was met at the door of the establishment with plenty of staff along with the security guard not allowing anybody into the store, saying that they "have to close the tills". This was a blatant lie and disgusting how people were forced out of the store and treated this evening.

If you are advertising that you are open until 7pm people should still be able to enter as per usual 10 minutes prior to closing. Just because staff want to finish 10 minutes early so they can get themselves plastered before midnight most likely. Disgusting.

Love Alton - Hate Sainsbury's

Their Rip off sales tactics have stooped to a new low of putting fruit side by side in same size punnets but raspberries were only half full

Why the twice size punnett of contents, clearly just to con customers

Plus being charged full price for things on offer. Only went in for a sainsburys own item plus a £60 shop.

Now will only ever go for that 1 item and have lost our other business more - for good.

Should have checked weight I know but they are at the end of the isle when you enter store just catch out as many customers they can

I purchased a pyjama set for my other half a week ago (in the Mother's Day section of the Alton store). Unfortunately, I found out that this morning that these were the wrong size. I went back to the Alton store this morning and asked the lady at the Customer Service desk if these could be exchanged for a different size. I explained that unfortunately, I no longer had the receipt, but I was returning this pyjama set in the exact new condition that I brought them in (still had the price tag on it). I was told that this was not possible to exchange due to not having the receipt. The lady was very rude and impatient and I felt that I was treated very badly. This lady has sadly let the Sainsbury store down and having shopped with Sainsbury's for over 5 years as our main food store, I am deeply disappointed. I would ask that this is investigated and Sainsbury's PM me with a satisfactory response. I will happily send a picture of the pyjama set, if required. Many Thanks
