Fantastic food and staff always happy to serve you.
Clean and tidy , helpful staff, not the best value around and the coffee shop very basic , but then it’s a supermarket
and not a Bistro. Great parking
Changed the menu in the Cafe. Love the food apart from the sausage and mash. Different sausages that don’t really taste that nice and the skins are too thick and tough. It’s almost as if they have used something else as skin which I won’t refer to here. Still love Sainsbury’s though and staff are geat as always 👍😀
Went there early afternoon to the cafe. Staff nonexistent and unhelpful, cutlery nonexistent (is there a shortage of forks?)
Went there a couple of hours later for another cuppa, (different) staff 100% better in attitude, helpfulness and, well, actually being there...
Still no bloody forks though.
Worst breakfast ever. Hard eggs, cold, very poor indeed
We came here today for a quick lunch in the cafe. Waited nearly 40minutes for a half cooked jacket potato and a child's nugget and chips meal that consisted of practically burnt nuggets and cold chips. My son couldn't eat the nuggets but was starving as food took so long so he ate the cold chips. Not particularly busy/ hardly any staff about to discuss with. Absolute joke!
They dont have contactless at this branch, cause it my whole trip out there to be wasted as i use apple pay on my phone as my daily money system.
This is a very well implemented technology and it's ridiculous that you dont have it yet.
Poor slow service, cold food, would not recommend it
If you are planning to go shopping today wear winter clothing - it is absolutely freezing all around the store
I don't know who had the bright idea to move the wheelchairs, motor scooters, etc to the far end of the store - the furthest point from the door - but it caused a lot of distress for me today. I have leukemia and can't walk far so having the wheelchairs just inside the door used to be ideal. Now I have to exhaust myself walking right to the end of the store and I'm then too tired to think about shopping! Clearly, whoever saw fit to make this change has not consulted with a single wheelchair user. It's ridiculous and it will be the thing that makes me shop elsewhere.
