Thank you to Alan who works on the meat counter at Sainsbury's hedge end, he could see I was struggling in store today pushing My baby in a pram whilst trying to hold a mountain of toys from the toy sale including 2 scooters he came over without me asking and insisted he carry all my stuff to the checkout for me, what a lovely man and great employee, thank you Alan.

Thank you Sainsbury's for your Lego cards I love that the book is only £2 so accessible for all and as your cards are free with your shop it's been great for community spirit.

All our children have been so kind with each other giving cards away and not expecting anything in return.

My daughter has found it just as fun to help her friends finish there collection as she did hers.

Finally something that does feed a material culture which we desperately try to avoid with our children.

Not a complaint really - but more of an observation - at the checkout early evening today I handed over my Sainsbury’s Loyalty Card to the assistant, with my purse in my hand ready to receive the card back, instead of handing it back to me it was placed on the other side of the counter and was told to move across to pay.

It was very busy and I only had a basket so I went to the self checkout I have my arm strapped up and I asked for help and the young lady was so helpful she did it for me it makes a change to find some one so helpful there

I have shopped at Sainsbury's a long time as I value there good quality produce and variety of items but try to remain at low prices. I use the Hedge End store as it is bigger and has all o need for my Christmas shop. Staff are always helpful and find that the meat counter staff are always ready to help with ideas.

Always love your online shopping has your store always seems to be busy! Staff are always friendly. And love the click and collect service to! And now you do online same day delivery. Was brilliant has I do the weekly shop on my own and I can’t get roped into the offers or reduced end.

Love your store but I've just gone through your self scan tills with a bottle of boxed champagne for tomorrow night and the girl that approved my age did not seem interested. Just emptied my bags out at home and went to put the bubbles in the fridge to find it still has a security tag on it! Not impressed as I can't get back to you now so will have to hope that a pair of pliers will do the job.

Love Sainsburys . I get my Christmas food there , I order it from the booklet you do . I definitely went the wrong time yesterday . There were so many people there . I'm not too good with crowds , so I'll have to try a different time . Otherwise , I love it . So many varieties n I like the bits in for Xmas n Halloween n Easter , n the Staff are really Good . I have shopped there for years

Sorry not a review but only place I can post. My little boy lost his old looking bear at your store today probably in the car park. Please please can you let me know if he is handed in we have a very upset 3 year old � thank you

Bought some jersey royal potatoes today for a family bbq tomorrow. Taste the difference is supposedly better than most but these potatoes once cooked are not even fit for mash.

Annoyed doesn’t come close as unless I take the cooked potatoes back into the store and then have a discussion about how I cooked them it’s basically £6 down the drain.

We used to like visiting the cafe. Decent cheap food. Today I had the macaroni cheese. The tiniest portion we've ever seen. We queried this to be told it was right. Incidentally the lad in front of us had the same-hubby walked by as he was eating to find he had more in his bowl, even after eating loads. If u had run out be honest-don't serve me a tiny portion for £4 and expect us to come back. We won't

Visited the cafe, felt very sorry for the lady behind the till. It was very busy and she had a huge queue, it seemed to be breakfast/main menu change Over time. She did brilliantly until the other lady came back, more staff needed. Two front of house and two at the back is not enough.

Very unhappy with Christmas Click & Collect, apart from the Gammon everything ordered had UseBy date of 26th Dec. No notification of this, if I'd known I could've got a longer date range picking from the chilled sections. Not a great start & can't freeze some of the food as it's already been defrosted. What a waste & poor service. Merry Christmas HedgeEnd Sainsbury's. 👎👎👎

Totally unimpressed with the click & collect at this store. Ordered numerous presents to be delivered to the store for us to collect and every single order has gone wrong from Sainsbury's side. I have held on for 25 minutes to speak to a member of staff who eventually answered the phone but was less than helpful. When we went to collect the products we were told they weren't there, even though we had printed off the e-mails saying they were ? We went back a couple more times and were told the same thing until we were then told the items had been sent back to the suppliers because we failed to collect them !!!......the Duty Manager said he was very sorry but he couldn't magic them back !.....at that point, I left my mobile number with him and kindly asked him to ring me back when he had solved the mess that his store had caused......my Son is now without his birthday present......total inefficiency and lack of ownership.

The new self scan is great in theory but useless in practice. Wifi not powerful enough to run software. Scanning takes too long. Check out painful as only 4 check out units and to make matters worse 2 out of order!!!

Start 2018 as you mean to go on was the title of an e-mail received from Sainbury's today which reminded me that I have been meaning to write a complaint letter for some time about the Smart Scan system at the Hedge End store as I am almost at a stage of finding somewhere else to shop because its a complete nightmare. On the 23rd of December my scanner failed 4 times during the shop. Last week it wasn't working and I had to go through the tills which isn't a pleasant experience when the person that it serving you doesn't understand the meaning of please 'slow down as I like to organise my packing' ( which is why I smart scan) I think my maximum return to the counter is 4 or 5 times in one shop but quite often its at least once.

Get it sorted please

I know that the shoe repair bar is probably rented by independents, but I just felt that I need to make people aware of an issue that I had today. I was shopping with my wife in the Hedge End Sainsburys site this morning, and thought I would get a new battery fitted to my watch as it had stopped a few hours earlier. I asked a guy in the shoe bar if he fitted watch batteries and he confirmed that he did. He said "That will be £39.95 please". Virtually £40 to supply and fit a coin cell battery in a watch!!!! The words 'off' and 'rip' come to mind. After I picked myself off the floor I took my watch back and told them I would take it to a watch repairer in Bitterne who charges £5.00 to fit a replacement battery.

Hardly any tills open on a Friday night. We emptied our shopping on one conveyor but had to move because of a spillage by the customer in front. Went to two other tills only to find they were closing so ended up using a self service till with a trolley load of shopping which needed constant help from the assistant because we had so many bags and the sensor kept thinking something was wrong. Nightmare!

Annoyed that your cafe staff are stupid enough to offer a child food without asking the parent, there was a piece of food left on the tray that brought our meals out, my son who is ceoliac looked at it and she offered it to him, he is ceoliac and cannot eat food contaminated or that contains gluten!!! Why would you offer a child food without a mothers permission!! Very disappointed!
