Thank you to Mark Goddard for kindly typing up directions for me to get to Bournemouth after an accident on m27 had forced me to drive around an area I don't know, with two hungry and whinging children. He took the effort to come and find me in the cafe with the print-out and even gave me contact numbers if I got lost again.

Thank you to Chris who manages the online deliveries at Fareham, my order had loads of problems so had to call the call centre to sort they then booked the wrong time 9-10pm not 9-10am so I called and explained to the lovely lady at the call centre I had been waiting for an hour with a poorly baby & ill myself so was there anything they could do to get my shopping out earlier as I couldn’t wait until 9pm. Chris agreed straight away to sort it, delivered it himself within an hour with a box of chocolates to say sorry for all the problems - couldn’t ask for more, I was in tears with gratitude as I realise it’s a busy time of year. Thank you again.

Great shop and the cafe makes lush food or just a coffee to meet friends...

Great Restaurant staff, so helpful. My daughter dropped her bowl of pasta on the floor, and the staff rushed over to assist and replaced it free of charge. Great customer service :)

Fantastic service by the pizza counter for two separate birthday parties last week. Staff very willing and more than helpful to accommodate our timings even though it was 7:45 on the Saturday night, so really after hours. Brilliant value and have recommended to many.....thankyou Sainsbury's but particular thankyou to the deli / pizza team �

We went for the lego card swap and was really impressed. 2 happy kids. Just a shame there wasn't much in the way of choice for cakes/snacks in the cafe or we would have had one while we were there.

Just popped in for a couple of bits and decided to have some food while we were there.

Because I like the variety of groceries I pick up the sale items and reduced down items, very friendly staff in cafe and cashier on till was pleasant not many people queue straight up very pleased.

Not a fan of the new breakfast menu - why get rid of the big breakfast sandwich (you do bacon rolls, and sausage rolls, why not just put both in the same sandwich!) I will be coming here for breakfast much less often if this trial menu becomes permanent. Other things on the menu actually look quite good but why fiddle about with basic breakfast dishes.



The trial of the additional shelves in the aisles also makes the whole store a lot darker than it used to be and a lot more untidy looking. Some aisles have a very 'Ikea warehouse' feel to them.



A few weeks ago I would have rated this store as 5 stars - the service and general experience is still good but the above detracts somewhat. Why is this particular store being used to trial rubbish ideas?

Limited choices and pricey.....

Very disappointed with the baby changing facilities especially for the men. Having to stand within a few feet of the urinals doesn't make it a pleasant experience and having nowhere but the floor to put your bag isn't the greatest. Compared to the asda changing facilities it's a little bit pathetic. I really hope you can sort something out as I won't be able to shop there with my baby anymore.

I don't think much of the new breakfast menu ordered two of the new bacon baguettes got a baguette with two small bits of bacon in a dry baguette Me and my husband used to be regular weekend visitors not gonna bother no more .

Yesterday I popped in for breakfast. I decided to get extra mushrooms and pay the extra 45p. For my 45p I got one rather average medium sized mushroom. Based on the cost and size of the mushroom, a punnet of shrooms would have cost me about £9!!!!

Think you should give some of your staff training when dealing with older people. My mum had forgotten her pin number when paying for petrol, the girls were impatient with her which made her worse. She suffers with memory problems and anxiety so their attitude didn't help her at all.

The breakfast is awful here - avoid! We haven’t had breakfast here for quite a while. They’ve changed it and tried to make it more high end by making it Taste the Difference - I could taste the difference but not in a good way. Bring back the standard ingredients - you don’t need a herby sausage with a tough skin for breakfast. The hash browns weren’t cooked properly. It was just generally very disappointing and not good value for money. Bring back the old style breakfast!

Shocked to hear from my visiting uncle from Leicester this morning, that his local Sainsbury's is selling diesel today at £1.199 per litre, yet is £1.279 in Fareham. Given we have a refinery on our doorstep this canNOT be anything to do with distribution costs and EVERYTHING to do with profiteering. Disgusted.

Please be aware that not all the sandwiches in the meal deal section are actually in the deal despite being in the marked out section. This is not an error they are deliberately placed there. I have on many occasions informed the customer service but they still continue to place non deal items in there. It is not just confined to the sandwich deal you have to double check all deals. Shopping is hard enough without having to scrutinise everything you pick up off the shelf

I have never experienced such rude and obnoxious staff and then to actually lie to a manager!!!! It was staff on the lottery counter. I spend over a thousand pound a year at this place but think I will be going tescos now!!!

Advise to avoid!!!
