... Course Information: As of 1st September 2017 the FPOSI/FPOS qualification will be replaced by the more sought after medical course FREC. Alot of employers both here in the UK and internationally are already looking for their staff to convert or renew to the new FREC qualification (so please be aware of this when deciding medical courses for specific careers e.g. security).
*Some international employers for Close Protection have already stated that all staff on R&R/ Leave will need to update their qualification to FREC, L3 and we can assist with your needs during leave times.
Course Description: This course is aimed at people who already work within the medical sector, event medical sector, Ambulance services, Emergency Services, Close Protection Operatives (especially international CP Operatives) or people who are working in high risk workplaces who already have a current FPOS or FPOSI medical certificate in place and are looking to renew their qualification or convert it to the new replacement qualification FREC.
Course Content: You will revisit First response Emergency Care knowledge, skills and competences needed to deal with a wide range of prehospital care emergencies, such as:

This course is interactive, scenario based learning where each learner will learn to calmly and carefully manage a patient through prehospital care ready for the Emergency services to take over when the patient arrives at the hospital.

Course Description:
This course is a four day course with pre course workbook to be completed prior to starting the course on 15th April.
Normal teaching times is between 9-5:30pm and then there is a exam each evening and your tutor will let you know finish times on day one.
During this course you will cover all four modules of the Door Supervisor course which include:-
1) Working Within the Private Security Industry 2) Working as a Door Supervisor Within the Private Security Industry 3) Conflict Management Within the Private Security Industry 4) Physical Intervention Within the Private Security Industry
During the last day of training you will undertake Emergency First Aid at Work qualification which is valid for three years.

Date: 14th April 2019 Length: 1 full day (9-5pm) Location: Warminster Training Centre (on the High Street) Attendance requirements: Must hold a current SIA licence Price: £45 ... Certificate: STSL attendance certificate awarded for CPD
This course is a in house course we offer to all SIA licence holders as Physical Intervention is a skill you need to use or practice, otherwise you can loose the skills you learnt initially on your Door Supervisor/ Close Protection/ Security Guard course (if you were taught PI on your course).
During the day you will cover relevant legislation regarding Physical Intervention, revise and practice SIA authorised holds and physical intervention skills which you have learnt throughout the day (inline with SIA PI model of the tutor) and the tutor will ensure you are competent and confident on the usage of your Physical intervention skills before you leave.
Lastly it is good practice to undertake Continuous Professional development if you are working within the security Industry as you have to be able to take care of yourself under the SIA requirements. The certificate you will be given will show all your potential employees that you have undertaken CPD and are competent in SIA regulated PI techniques.

This course is a new course we offer for anyone looking to working within the security industry. We have put together a fabulous package which will give you the skills and knowledge to obtain your SIA Door Supervisor licence and also Emergency First at Work qualification.
Here at Sentinel we feel strongly that all Door Supervisors should be First Aid trained so they can care for themselves and others whilst on duty as a minimum. ... This course is aimed at people who work with children or have children in their care. The First Aid content of this course is aimed at children aged birth to the onset of puberty.
The Paediatric First Aid course is ran over two days (12hrs+) and meets OFSTED, Department for Education, Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage/childcare register, Local Education Authorities legal requirements and HSE recommendations/guidelines.
