Simply Love Vintage hires everything vintage for Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthday parties, Dinner parties or any event.
We have a large stock of beautiful vintage china, glassware, linens and furniture. We can also provide a wide range of authentic vintage props, including gramophones, typewriters and much more. We are also happy to source a particular item just for you!
We deliver and collect, we also do all the washing up, leaving you free to enjoy the celebrations.

It was SO lovely to set out my vintage crockery at a local care home yesterday. The chefs created beautiful, tasty cakes and sandwiches for the residents and they thoroughly enjoyed seeing and using the vintage cups and saucers.

So, I promised myself that I wouldn’t buy any new china until I had some firm bookings for its hire and now that I’ve secured some I treated myself to this lovely Imari patterned set.....it comprises of 6 trios and 2 sandwich/cake plates. Shall I mix them in with the other mismatched crockery......or keep them as a set? Please comment below!

Today, I have loved seeing my elderly father singing in his care home; I have loved walking at a National Trust property amongst the beautiful snowdrops and camellias and I have loved seeing my bees 🐝 out of their hives and in the garden.

#NationalCakeDay One of the greatest things to do.......tea and scones......but so many decisions to make! Warm or cold? Plain or fruit? Then the BIG decision........Cream first, then the jam..... or jam first topped by the cream? Personally, I like my fruit scones warm, then the cream and topped with jam!
Happy Stir Up Sunday, everyone! Today, I am unpacking some of the cake stands.....they are stored flat and then put together, so even that was today’s challenge! I bet they would look lovely with some cake on........what should it be? Christmas cake? Battenberg? French Fancies? Viennese Whirls? Or something else?
