Would just to say a HUGE thank you to one of your staff members called Lisa today , she went over and above today with her customer service to help us! I have one very happy little boy and a weekend of assembling the trampoline!

We love this shop it's great for our son Jon who has sanfilippo a terminal disease , the toys are set out well and Jon can see all of them from his wheelchair, the staff are very friendly and always kind to Jon showing him things. They have a nice selection of early years toys with lots of lights and stimulation for a child � like Jon . Always reasonably priced . I know you can buy on line but for us it's a special outing and Jon loves to see all the children � looking at the toys . I'm really pleased with all our purchases on Sunday . I think we will be back to buy Minnie Mouse to go with Micky we purchased on behalf of Father Christmas �. X

Thanks so much to the lovely helpful staff at smyths today for putting themselves out to look my autistic sons I pad and to the very kind person who found it and handed it in!

Need to get one of these bad boys over on the Isle of Wight!

My partner and I have just made our third big purchase at Smyths for our daughter and I must say that every visit has been a pleasant one, so much so that today we searched out a member of staff to show us another car seat we were interested in buying.

Sarah is super friendly, really helpful, great with our daughter and knows her stuff with regards the car seats on offer - which is extremely reassuring for first time parents! Nothing is too much trouble for her and she recognised me and my daughter immediately from our first car seat purchase, even though that was almost 3 weeks ago!

I do hope Sarah gets recognised for her efforts as she has been an absolute star in our eyes!

I have to credit Smyths and in particular the Bournemouth store for their excellent handling of the Nintendo Switch launch at midnight Thursday night / Friday morning.



The ordering online was easy and we were kept up to date on the day of the launch.



Once we arrived at the store the staff explained the procedure and were entertained. They were happy to chat about the Switch and additional games and accessories they had.



Honestly, from some of the bad experiences I've read online for their console launches - Smyth's was a dream!! Will (and have) recommend them to everyone.

Brilliant customer service over the bank holiday weekend. Even though the store was busy, a member of staff took the time to explain all the technical jargon for stunt scooters for our 4 year old. It was a great help to a family who are scooter-novices. Many thanks again!

Always find the staff so helpful in the store and friendly. Big thank you to Molly who helped me on Sunday choosing 2 car seats she knew her stuff and was very patient and honest with me. A big thank you to the staff who helped me out to the car with them as well. :)

Great choice of toys. Rather good quality items as well, compared to toys r us

Check outs always under staffed and customer toilet was out of order.

But overall best toy shop in area.

Good variety of toys, obviously! But a bit expensive.

Terrible experience! My partner and I returned a push chair as it was faulty. Smyths policy is to return to manufacturer and have the push chair tested rather than refund! Which is fair enough but they did not have a loan push chair for us. So we purchased another push chair as we couldn't be without one for 10 days. After 2 weeks and no contact from Smyths even tho we phoned every day from day 7 no one answered the phone and they don't have an answer machine we visited the store to be told the person dealing with it wasn't working and no one else in the store could help us! Finally on week 3 and many visits to the store and another 30 minute conversation with 'customer services' Smyths accepted the push chair was faulty! Badly managed store!
