Its that time of year again; The Kraken is going nocturnal. Fridays we will be open until 9pm!

It's a beautiful sunny day here, perfect place to ignore the wedding and the footie.

The sun is finally out in Hele bay! We are venue 1 for the Ilfracombe Art Trail so come down and have a look at some beautiful art from the lovely Jo Payne which will be here over the Bank Holiday weekend. And why not stay for a paddle and an ice cream, get out and enjoy it while you can. ☀ 🌊 🎨

Hi Everyone, we are pleased to anounce we will be opening on the 24th March :D

Well that's all for another year. It's been another busy season and we want to thank all of our customers and staff for making it a wonderful year. The Kraken shall reawaken on 23rd March 2018.

It's our last weekend of evenings. It's taco and pizza night tonight and tomorrow and Sunday night is pizza night. Open 9-9 serving food until 8.

The sun is shining for the first time in a while and it's taco night. Grab a brew and some delicious homemade Mexican food and hit the beach for the last few rays of the day. Open until 9 this evening

Good news everyone. We are rolling out our taco night to Saturday as well as Friday due to popular demand. Homemade tacos available 6-8 Friday and Saturday eat in or take away throughout August.

You know what makes rainy days better? Tacos. Taco night is here again, serving from 6-8 tonight along side our delicious homemade pizza. Available to eat in or enjoy on the beach.

Filling and tasty Kraken breakfast is not to be missed. Brie, ham and rosemary pizza was good too. Right on the beach as well.

Delicious food and drink plus different specials each week (including vegetarian), amazing ice cream, friendly welcoming owners, small shop selling beach toys and gifts...and right next to Hele Beach. What's not to like?! Snacking Kraken is one of our favourite eateries, I highly recommend you try it!

Very nice view by the beach hearing the waves roll against the shore.

A bright, colourful and welcoming beachside cafe, serving really good grub. Wish we lived closer than 140 miles away, as this would be our favourite and regular place to eat.
