Sodbury Sewing School provides fun and friendly hands-on sewing workshops for anyone wanting to learn or improve basic sewing skills.

Have you sat and watched the Great British Sewing Bee and longed to have the skills to make your own clothes? Have ever wished that you could inject more personality into your home with some of your own handmade creations? Do you have a length of fabric or a sewing pattern squirrelled away which you've promised yourself you will turn into something "one day"? Have you considered buying a sewing machine, but been scared about whether you'll know how to use it?

If any of these sound like you, then it's time you learn to sew! Nikki and Rachel are both self-taught home sew-ers who, having made plenty of mistakes along the way, are waiting to pass on the tips and tricks they have learnt to anyone with an interest in learning to sew.

Choose from a range of sewing workshops that will teach you all the basics you need to start your own sewing adventure. Every workshop includes tea and cake served in our quirky vintage china, and we will help you to produce a finished item that you can take home and put to good use. Plus there'll be lots of gossip and giggles along the way!
