Played footgolf a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely class. Would definitely go again

User

Great course greens a bit wet but we did have major storm night before.

User

Excellent food as always and the very best service

User

Been a member here a long time and even in the wettest conditions the green keeping staff do a great job ensuring the courses are kept well. Far too many people moan about temporary tees and greens but they simply need to understand that this is a must when the courses are extremely wet. I'll happily play here all year round, great club and a great team in place. Good job mytime but I do hope you take control of the clubhouse in the future.

User

A really great test of golf. It's long, mature and in very good condition for a public golf course. 'The Muni' is one of my favourites! The only downside is the sheer amount of people that play it. It can lead to long waiting times on tees. It is, in my opinion the best public course I've ever played. I've not been for a long while, but I'm hoping to return soon!

User

The golf course itself is really nice. Some really good holes with good sized greens that roll really well and we're receptive when playing aggressive golf. The views of the course from the club house are great.

But one thing really let it down which for most it will not affect those who play but you need to be made aware.

We was booked in as a society, not a big society but enough that we got a discount. When we arrived on the day a few had dropped out. When we explained this they said because we had dropped below a certain number we now had to pay full price because they could have sold those t times. We were playing on a Tuesday and let's just say my 4 ball had a 4 and bit hr round and no one caught up with us. One of our group had a broken finger but they still charged him so he just walked with us.

Golf is one of the last games that is played by gentleman and demands honesty and integrity. I feel this club could have been a little more accommodating and gentlemanly with our dilemma. Did they think we was trying to have them over !!!! As a society you want big numbers because it's a competition. It's a shame the way we was treated, it's tarnished the club. Just a shame as that little bit of customer service would have gone a long long way. Just be aware of this if going as a society.

I can't take anything away from the course though. A really nice knock.

User

Like the course but why haven't you got a proper driving range here I was there yesterday with a friend hitting a few of our own balls and having to go and pick them up but waiting for someone else to finish there practice and trying to find your own golf balls among everybody else's can be very frustrating and time consuming before your game!!

User

I had a great time there last week, it's a great course.

User

Great value for money friendly staff 18 hole course is well kept

User

Great course the 18 hole is long and well layed out . Also has a very challenging 9 hole course with a par 5 .🖒🖒🖒

User

Good course even though a bit wet in places 3 temp greens which is understandable. Value for money only £10 due to conditions .

User

Fantastic course although a couple of the fairways could do with a haircut. lovely food at a great price too

User

Played there yesterday for the first time and the course was very good as were the greens if a little slow. The service at the shop and restaurant was good but unfortunately the only thing that spoilt it was the food. I had sausage and mash that smelt great unfortunately disappointed to find the core bright red. I was assured by the staff that it must be okay because the temperature was above that recommended by 20 degrees. However despite their assurances I could not trust a bright red sausage core. Further disappointed by the fact that they did not offer any alternative. The customer is not always right apparently?. The only other disappointment was the state of the gentleman's toilets; unbelievable, not what you would expect from a club of this quality
