amazing food, huge selection of food and drinks, excellent coffee and lovely atmosphere; friendly and helpful staff.

Visited with a group of friends, some of whom had the light lunches and were pleasantly surprised when their quiches came accompanied with a big plate of (fresh!) salad. Amazing snickers brownie for a sweet treat and of course excellent coffee. Will definitely be back again.

This is was our 2nd visit for brunch and we love it �� the breakfast is awesome and really friendly staff �

Met a friend at S&C that I haven't seen for 3 years, we had a fab, freshly cooked breakfast and lots of coffee which tasted great. Staff were helpful and friendly. Arrived to a queue but 1/2 were taking away so plenty of tables and very little waiting time for service. Would definitely make it my regular if I lived locally. Bike parking right outside was really useful and it's in a fab location practically on Queens Square.

I eat out a lot but this place does the best breakfast .. so good

I asked what White Peach Tea was as I hadn't tried it before, the staff encouraged me to smell it and that was me sold on trying it! It smells amazing and it tasted even better. Also the same staff member who served me then made herself a cup too as she couldn't resist the smell either! I ate the field mushroom bap and it was very yummy, most lovely breakfast I've eaten for a while. I enjoyed my visit do much that I went back a few hours later for hot chocolate and a slice of cake - both were gorgeous.

Have never had a bad meal here. Love the imaginative salads and tarts. Just had the almond and white chocolate blondie with peanut butter icing. Heaven.

Great menu I had the avocado toast with poached eggs and bacon. Good coffee and wonderful selection of cakes and homemade sandwiches. Nice atmosphere would highly recommend �

Great food, warm people + great indie spirit

Amazing place, I'm originally from Bristol but moved to Australia. I came back to Bristol for a visit in May and wanted a good relaxing place which made good coffee and food, (Australians are known for good coffee) this place ticked all the boxes... Loved the Smoked bacon, Harissa and egg bap they were delicious.

Probably one of the best places to go and staff are so friendly.

Absolute heaven! The best veggie breakfast ever! And not a 'meat replacement' in sight, yay!!!!!! And the smoothest coffee I think I've ever had 😍😍😍 wish I lived closer - it would become my regular haunt.

Lovely impromptu lunch stop. Wide selection of snacks and a different take on the sandwich theme. Cake offerings looked very tempting indeed. Will be going back again.

We visited the Clifton branch this afternoon. We waited ages to be served even though the café wasn’t busy. The drinks took ages to arrive, by which time we’d eaten our cakes. I ordered a chai latte and had to send it back as the milk froth was lumpy! My husband’s latte and my chai latte were luke warm. The back room where we were sitting was absolutely boiling and the downstairs (where the toilets were) smelled super damp. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience, we won’t be recommending it at all. Such a shame as we like to support independent businesses.

Coffee (just an americano) was fine but it took forever. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all and there were 3 people working behind the counter but all of them seemed to be bored and inattentive.

Went in this morning and was completely ignored by staff let alone greeted. When I politely asked if I was standing in the right place to be served, as no one would even make eye contact, I was pretty much waved off, as if I had caused a problem. When I then said this to the barista who served another customer in front of me even though I had waited some time, (it was by no means busy) I was offered no apology. To top it all off I was charged £3.00 for a Chai Latte that was roughly 10oz, hardly brewed, with scolded milk. Don't think I'll be back unless customer service improves.
