Spitchwick Cricket Club plays friendly cricket in one of the most idyllic locations you could imagine for a ground. we welcome like minded touring sides.
Spitchwick Cricket Club Description
Spitchwick CC was founded at the beginning of 2011 so this is our fifth season. We play friendly games of cricket most Sundays throughout the season with the occassional midweek T20 game thrown in for good measure.
Our pitch is located within the Spitchwick estate on Dartmoor, within the national park, and is sited opposite the manor house. It lies in a wonderful setting above the river dart and below the distant Buckland Beacon with beautiful views all around.
Touring sides are very welcome!
Facilities are somewhat non existent at the moment so the changing rooms are the cars you arrive in and the toilet facilities are the local trees!
Please feel free to call in to one of our home games if you are in the area, visitors welcome, there is normally a barrel tapped so beer is available at a very good price.
