The sun is shining and were open, (when i work out how to do it menu to follow) its going to be a scorcher of a weekend!

The bistro is now closed for the season. Heres the view from the balcony last night! Thanks to everyone we saw this year and well be back with a new menu and ideas for easter 2019

Our hours have now changed, were closing at 8pm every night, we still have daily specials and cold cider!!!

We have face painting tonight in the conservatory from 5pm. Limited places so get there early.

Roast dinner and a punch and judy show, from 5pm.

Bring the little ones up for a balloon model and chill out with a cider and a pie!

We have been visiting for several years and the food beats all the camp sites we've visited hands down, great selection of meals for the family and never breaks the bank, unlike some other named camp sites! Our friends prefer to visit us at the bistro rather than eat at their own Hayle site....carry on the great work you're fab

This place does great food, to eat in or takeaway. I have always found it to be good quality and reasonable prices too. Staff are friendly, facilities are good too. It can get a bit noisy inside at times but that's only to be expected in a Conservatory setting. Sitting on the deck outside watching the sun go down is fantastic. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, the staff very friendly and prices were fair. Loved every minute. The Nachos with Chilli were yummy as was the fish coujons and chips. !! Hubby had the gammon one time and it was HUGE. Best bit is its takeaway if you want. All that and stunning views whilst you eat. Can't fault it. Thanks Bay Bistro. See you next year !!�

Been here for the last 9 years food is very quick and nice nothing wrong with it would recommend also the staff are really nice

As returners I have to say we love this place. Super menu , very friendly staff and an unbeatable location. Only negative is that as from 11th September the opening hours are restricted to largely mornings which is a real shame as dinner watching the Sunset over St Ives is a highlight of our holidays. Full occupancy this week so can't see why , but I expect it was a purely business decision, and nobody could deny these guys deserve a break after a full on season. Still gutted though..

As a restaurateur my self knowing Abbi Smitham who works at the place who is such a lovely person and hall her family would make me decide this place is already decent enough for me. I will be there in the winter to have some of the lovely foods you are serving there.

Andy and his team catered for me any my film crew (40+ people) for 4 weeks this April/May and every day was delicious!

we like it in here because you don`t have to wait long for your food and we also like it when they give you the blue square timer thing that flashes and vibrates when your meal is ready.

The food is always well prepared.There are plenty of options, and as I am vegetarian I have a good choice of meals. A very happy atmosphere with desserts to die for. Can't wait to go back in August.

Food is fine...curry was rubbish though!! The onion rings weren't homemade as advertised on the app! More canteen style than bistro though but I was happy to eat there instead of cook!! My kids are fussy eaters and I asked if it was possible for them to have a couple of extra chicken nuggets instead of the baked beans to be told the kitchen wouldn't do that!!! Limited choice of alcoholic drinks until bar opens at 7. Huge portions and never had to wait long for food. Lovely setting if weather good and you can sit outside but very hot and noisy inside!

Just come back from st Ives didn't rate the bay bistro at all poor quality food chips tasted like they had been cooked in cheep cooking oil, the only thing worth eating was a jacket potato you carnt go wrong with that�

Jacket spud was over cooked salad was limp and looked like it was left over from hours earlier had a piece of bacon that wasn't cut up but just put on the jacket spud just wasn't up to much

The only good thing about this evenings meal was that I didn't have to cook. Awful. Very friendly staff though
