Went on the 14/11/17 for my 25th birthday.. the food was lovely.. and I had a free bday shot.. was well happy.. the staff was lovely.. would recommend it to anyone there.. xx

Last night we booked the cocktail bar down stairs, our bartender BRANDON was AMAZING!!
He was on his own serving over 30 people and done an incredible job.
Nothing but smiles, singing and dancing from him, he well and truly smashed it!
He has such amazing customer service joined in with us kept everyone happy.
He is an asset to this company.
He made our night!

Just had the best afternoon with fab friends celebrating my birthday at the Cocktail Workshop ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½
Ā£20/head fantastic value with Prosecco & a shot on arrival followed by 2 cocktails which you choose to make, party game followed by another shot.
We ate afterwards upstairs, excellent service, really friendly staff and great tasting food.
Definitely be back to celebrate another birthday, no excuse needed!
Had one of the best steaks Iāve had in a long time would highly recommend
Great service and huge food portions. Lots of drink choice too but no coke. Some gluten free options, enough to make a choice difficult but gluten free brownie for pudding was good.
Went for a friends bday, both ordered the 32oz which was amazing apart from also having 32oz of chips. One of my friends ordered a milkshake which wasnāt the greatest so when a complaint was raised it was immediately replaced with what can only be described as a tastebud tingling, lip smacking, eye watering, throat soothing sensation.
Really great service here for my daughters 18th birthday. We had 22 guests and we all received our food together . The food was really nice , the best ribs ever. Will be back again soon.
I've been here many times the staff are very welcoming and helpful but waited 40 mins for our food even though we pre ordered our food. The garlic bread crust was hard I couldn't even eat it.
Had a brilliant time for my granddaughters 18th on the 6th January everyone said how lovely there meal was and there was 20 of us so we will be back.
Nice food but the staff seem to just stand there and stare at you like they're the mafia waiting for you to leave???? Quite rude as well.
Made such hard work of the fact that we wanted to split the bill and pay seperately by card!!! Also bar shut by 10.30 on a Friday night !!! Not very welcoming ......shame as food was ok and nice atmosphere !
I had steak which I couldnāt chew as it was hard and burnt?
I told the waitress that a great white shark would struggle to bite into it and she replied,itās probably the cut (whatever that means) I she didnāt ask if I wanted a refund on my meal or if I would like another steak.
Iāve given it 3 stars because the bar staff were brilliant,however I donāt think I will be rushing to go backš
Travelled from wiltshire via bristol to spend evening with family living in exeter, so looking forward to a nice get together. After getting one starter wrong out of 10, it was quickly rectified as the server wanted us to be happy.
However they then got my main wrong and i was told by the young female server, if i wanted it changed to what i ordered i would have to pay extra. Told her to just put it down. She walked off. Ate the roast potatoes, pigs in blankets and carrots. Left "cold" sprouts and Turkey. Food not great!
Pudding was ok but the cream was watery.
Won't be going back.
Orders was muddled up I was given a well done steak after I order med with sweet potatoes fries 1 of our other members was given a med steak when he ordered well done steak another 1 ordered med steak hers was a more rare to med so to save all the waiting it had to be a 3 way swap I ordered side salad nothing can out I had to ask for it so all in all could have been better seems we had to pre order

The greeting staff/ bar staff really struggled to produce a smile let alone any conversation.
After we had ordered the food took another hour to get to us and it really wasn't worth the wait.
Also the waiting staff really didn't appear to know what they were doing.
Mediocre food with poor staff
Did not enjoy my first and probably last experience here on Tuesday night. When my burger arrived it was stone cold so sent it back and took 25 mins for another one to be cooked! My partners burger was also cold and when it came out the second time it was dripping blood despite him asking for well done! The service was poor at best, lots of peoples plates still sitting in front of them while they are trying to eat dessert while the staff were leaning on the bar talking and not one bit concerned about customer service. Apart from the fact it was a staff Christmas night out and the company was great I would have been more annoyed.
We decided to come here a few Friday's ago to celebrate my birthday. The usuall atmosphere and cocktails is why we decided to come to starz bar.There was 8 of us we was late due to transport issues which in fairness they didn't mind. We ordered some cocktails and they didn't taste at all the same as previous. I had to send one cocktail back which was ment to be a pina colada it arrived in a pint glass with a straw warm thick and tasted of gone off milk. Our food come some of the girls were happy with their burgers. One of my friends ordered enchilada and it was awful it was full of sweet corn all thick mushy and dry stuck to the dish it was in. My chicken was well under cooked and squidgy. We waited for a check back for so long she eat around the edge and a slice of garlic bread. I ended up asking one of the waiters to come over as no check back. When he looked at the dish he offered to get it 're cooked but we had all nearly finished so didn't have the time to wait. She was told you won't have it taken of the bill as you ate half of it! Clearly anyone could see half of it wasn't eaten hardly any so we asked for a manager who came over defensive and rude straight away. Attitude was appalling what's the problem he asked we explained and he said you've eaten half of it I will give you a drink but that's it! which she agreed to it had got quite heated and they were happy to argue with us. I didn't mention my food as I couldn't believe the attitude and the fact he argued with us! He walked away and then we could see all the staff talking and laughing about us behind the bar. The customer service level was 0. The atmosphere was 0 there was 3 other tables eating. This place used to be life and soul on Fridays and Saturdays food and drinks used to be amazing. Such a shame this place has gone down hill so much.
