Over the last few months, in between other projects, I’ve been renovating a summerhouse. I’ve extended it, replaced the roof, installed new windows and French doors, clad the outside in larch and laid a new concrete floor. Quite a challenge but I’ve enjoyed the process and am really pleased with the outcome 👍. So far........ more to come with the inside in the New Year.....

Another kitchen installation completed. This time in a gorgeous holiday apartment overlooking Porthleven harbour. I get to work in some great locations 😁

I finished the installation of a new kitchen in a rental property in Praa Sands last week. Lovely to be able to update a lovely property in an awesome location 😁

Not all rotten decking has to be replaced with new, a short while ago I removed some rotten decking and replaced it with stone chippings, ably assisted by my son. A vast improvement to the area.

I finished an interesting project last week that involved extending a shed, building a raised decking with steps and secure storage beneath and an integrated chicken run. Worked out quite well I think 😁

It’s over 12 months since I started to strip the bathroom to paint it but then recently decided to completely renew literally everything from the suite to the window sills. At last it’s finished 😁

More decking completed 😁 This time it was a request to replace rotten decking. Whilst at it, I built a complete new support structure, a wooden retaining wall, a new wooden storage box, raised the height of a lower level to create one large area and built new steps with handrail. All in all a nice job working in an awesome location looking out over the surf with some help from my son Ben 👍

A great week battling all sorts of weather from sun to hail working with Jenx (Jenx Garden and Home Maintenance) to design and build additional decking to allow better access to a hot tub from the house. A pleasing outcome for us with two very chuffed customers 😁

I’ve had a busy time installing a new kitchen for a customer (bar the tiling) involving removal of the old kitchen, repairs to the walls (lots of plaster damage and rock hard textured paint 😩) post wallpaper removal, re-decorating, fitment of a new laminate floor and installation of new units.

More improvements to a lovely rental property this week by levelling a damaged area of the driveway, adding a ramp for disabled access to the decking (whilst retaining access to a manhole cover) and tree trimming to open up views of the river. Pleasing results 👍

Great to be back outside with Spring coming. I spent this week tidying up a rear garden area by sinking and levelling the patio for the bbq and building a separate decking area.

The internals of the Garage conversion are complete. The garage has been reroofed, new windows and doors, damp proofed, insulated and dry lined, rewired by South West Electrical and floors painted. I still need to paint the outside but that’s a job for the spring. It’s been a great project working for lovely people. They can start to create beautiful ceramics in a lovely tranquil space.
