the best part of this area other than the monument is the starlings in poetry

User

Wonderful, Such an incredible place to visit. I can remember going there as a child

User

Very beautiful place to see. How ever there nothing except stones of big sizes. But it will make you mesmerise over the fact that how it was brought here in the past.

The lady at the monument entrance pick up my lost phone that I accidentally dropped and sent it to the office. When I asked her she said she was looking for the owner around the spot and couldn’t find one then sending it to the office. The staffs at the office are also very helpful as there were two people looking for the phone at the same time and they had only one phone which was fortunately mine.

The Kazzams had a fantastic day today at Stonehenge.Great place, fabulous weather and lovely staff. We will be back.Lots of photos taken.Very happy.

Stonehenge is an excellent heritage site to visit. The staff are really friendly and very knowledgeable, a special mention to Carol who took the time to talk to my 7 year old daughter who was super excited about visiting the stones. There is a really good visitors centre with an exhibition, a restaurant and a gift shop, the toilets are spotless. The visitors centre is about a mile from the stones but there is both a paved path and road from the visitors centre to walk or alternatively you can catch a shuttle bus. Generally a very well organised and informative day out.

Simply Amazing! Protests we're going on the day we arrived. The staff was great and we are members of the English Heritage so admission is free.

One of the world's most fascinating site to see which is why it is a World Heritage Site. It needs continued protection from being "over loved" by druids and tourists. It is a testament to the perseverance of early man and his attempts to understand the world around him/her.

User

I got the opportunity to see something which was built by our human ancestors. It is 5000 years old. It is difficult to imagine how they have managed to built such structure.

I was overwhelmed after seeing it.

User

How much mystery in this place, check it out because it's beautiful and inspiring.......

User

Awesome time spent with the family, very pleasing and clean environment, friendly staff, good size parking lot worth every minute spent.

User

At the sight of so much history, you feel very small

User

Amazing and mysterious place that has so much to share about our history.

You can either choose a shuttle or take a 20mins walk to the main location from the ticket counter.

Well maintained hygienic wash rooms, budget friendly cafe and fascinating museum.

To the people who demotivated me from visiting Stonehenge by saying that there are just stones lying around at the middle of nowhere, you don't know what you have missed.

Must visit place!

User

A fantastic place that I’ve always wanted to see. Well worth the money for the inner circle and the people that work there are amazing!

User

Lots of beetles but still a wonderful monument . Loved the exhibit.

User

Waited over 20 years to see Stonehenge and was very disappointed. The price you pay is over the top for what you actually see. 20 foot from the stones is not acceptable. The visitor centre was absolutely rammed and the Sat Nav code given on the website does not send you to the visitor centre but down a dirt track off the A303 which is not good on a day when it’s pouring with rain and you are on a motorbike. Real let down in my opinion!

User

Only got to see the stones from the highway. Got to the gate 17 minutes after 3 after getting stuck in traffic and wouldn’t let us see the stones or buy a ticket when they close at 5. We didn’t mind having to go thru very quick

User

Traffic hell always miles of traffic people stopping to take pictures it need a new road away from it

User

I think it’s an absolute disgrace charging £21.50 to visit this important piece of history. How are regular families meant to afford this? It makes me sick to my stomach. Publish your accounts please and let’s see some justification! How can there be ?
