the service was great,the girls behind the bar were very friendly and helpful. and the food was just lovely. the roast dinner tasted so good we will definitely be going back there.

Visited for lunch whilst the car was being cleaned. The food was good, we had sandwiches which were lovely, even had to return to the bar as thought they'd forgotten to charge us for one as didn't realise it was 50% off that day! Have to say that the staff were lovely, welcomed with a smile and friendly chat, I work in the customer facing industry and the bar/waiting staff are a credit to the pub. Will certainly visit again.

My family and I ate lunch at the Strawberry Field Tavern today. When I made the booking, Ryan the manager could not have been more helpful. There were 8 of us in the booking. I required a table around the outside of the restaurant because one of the party is hard of hearing, and being on a table in the centre of the restaurant with others around it would have meant they could not hear (too much background noise); one person is in a wheelchair and one person is a vegan. Ryan accommodated all our needs wonderfully. The two ladies serving today were really pleasant and helpful. The meals were all very tasty. Good sized meal portions, including the small appetite plates, which is what I had! We all enjoyed catching up and had a lovely time in comfortable surroundings. I would definitely recommend this pub and will be visiting again. Thank you to the team at the Strawberry Fields Tavern.

Haven't visited the pub yet, but wanted to say thank you for providing shelter to my son and his friend from the rain and the cold today until they could be picked up. Very much appreciated.

Have been three times for lunch now and each time a different main course. The fish pie is the best I have ever had, the avocado, chicken and bacon salad is such a nice big portion and very tasty plus the lentil salad was really delicious. I am working my way through the menu and recommending to all of my friends. Well done Mo and Mandy, you've transformed the place �

Fantastic afternoon here today. We came to celebrate a 90th birthday celebration. Lovely selection of food at a reasonable price.



They are offering table service for diners and this would be good if they can keep it up.



Would definately recommend the place.

Lunch in the garden today with my Mum who is disabled. The staff were so helpful and considerate - nothing was too much trouble. Food delicious and great value and garden so pretty and colorful!
