Meet some of #TeamIncredible who took on Cheltenham Half 2018. Together they are on their way to raising £34k for our hospice - which could provide over 1,800 hours of care. We're so grateful to them all and would like you to join us in thanking them for their incredible fundraising and running!

You can view and buy these stunning photography, paintings and prints at a special exhibition raising vital funds for our care tomorrow, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th November between 10am and 4pm.
Nicola Gadsby and Linz Crane are holding the special charity exhibition at 99 Charlton Lane, Cheltenham, GL53 9EE with tea, coffee and selection of homemade cakes as well as selling Christmas and greeting cards. A percentage of the profits being donated to our hospice, so our Sue Ryder Nurses, doctors, care and support staff can be there for local families when it matters.
Huge thanks to Nicola and Linz for organising.

'Freaky' fundraisers raised an amazing £567 from their Zombie Walk through Gloucester, organised by our friends at Café René with crafty activities at The Eastgate Shopping Centre.
This could pay for a bed for a day care at our hospice. Thanks to everyone who took part and to everyone who made such a 'monster' effort!

Wow. What amazing staff.

My mum spent her last days in the hospice, and all the staff made her last days the best they could.

Nothing too much bother, and the complete care package just amazing.

The experience, the love given to the patients makes me very humble.

A big thank you to Julie harwood for being with us at the end.

For those that remember, a big shout out for the Brussel sprout, and the Heinz tomato soup. Thank you to the evening chef .

The very best care for my daughter at the time she needed it. The care from staff was always their immediately it was needed. They were also a comfort to me when I was at my lowest. God bless you all and may you keep going in your very caring work. You are all angels. My daughters name was Carol Pinkney. Thank you on her behalf.

Thank you to all the staff at the Sue Ryder Hospice. Although my Dad was only with you for 3 days before passing away he was treated so well and I would not of wanting him to of been anywhere else. Carol was truly amazing and a true professional through what was the hardest time of my life. Thanks to all, you do an amazing job.

Thank you so much for the excellent care you took not only of my lovely father Alan, but the whole family.

I cannot thank you all enough for making him so comfortable and tending to him so well. Your staff and volunteers alike are an absolute asset to you, they honestly went above and beyond the call of duty. We are truly devastated at losing such a kind and caring gentleman but knowing he was in such safe hands has really helped.

Thank you for looking after my step dad, for making him comfortable and treating him with such respect. I don't know the names of the nurses who were on duty last night, but I would like to say thank you to them for being so kind and understanding, for letting the whole family be there for his final hours, for the love they showed him, and for their kind words at such a difficult time. You all do such an amazing job. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Sue Ryder Hospice in the Home Team cared for my mum at the end of April this year 2018. They were absolutely fantastic. I can't praise enough the care, commitment, love and respect they gave mum, and also to us, her family trying to cope in a heart breaking situation. Thank you to every single one of you. You are indeed heaven sent angels xx

I want to say a massive thank you to all the staff who cared for my dad recently, You treated him with dignity and respect and helped make his final moments more peaceful for him x I never got the chance to thank the staff that was caring for him on the night 10th July so a massive thank you from the bottom of my heart such a beautiful building with staff who generally care not just about the patients but also the families too xx

User

I loved it seems a weird way of expressing my feelings for it I would much rather have nothing to do with the place however I have had to and I could not have asked for better people, everyone involved is both professional and personable at one of the hardest & most horrible times in my life xx

User

I just want to say a huge thanks from me, mum and the family for all the tender care and support you gave to my dad. We will be forever grateful to you for the time you spent making my dad's last days at home as comfortable as possible.

Me and my brother will be taking part in this year's cycle event and raising funds to help you continue the amazing work you do.

I had to bring somebody on a 3hr journey down to see a parent at the end life... we were all greeted with warmth and compassion.

We were given a hot drink before we had to leave for the journey back.

Everybody we met in the care team were so compassionate... we all felt humbled as we drove away.

Amazing Staff from the Manager down to the rest of the care team and in such an amazing setting.

User
