Surf Bay Lodge Description
Surf Bay Lodge was launched in 2015 and is located on the outskirts of Appledore, commanding panoramic views of the stunning North Devon coastline. The market town of Bideford is very convenient, where most other local amenities can be found.
The lodge offers fabulous facilities which includes a luxury outdoor hot tub /spa, a private heated swimming pool and a beautiful modern wet room and jacuzzi bath.
Access for our guest is all on one level and we have created a feel of luxury, style, comfort throughout the property. On arrival you will be greeted with a welcome pack which will include a bottle of bubbly, a box of chocolates, and fine fragranced bottles of Molton Brown, all of these gifts will enhance the pampering experience, we are aiming to give all our visitors.
We take great pride on how the lodge is presented and this view has been confirmed by our fabulous reviews from very satisfied customers.
If you are looking for a long weekend winter break, a mini moon, honeymoon or just to escape to somewhere new, please give us a ring.
We are able to offer packages through-out the winter which include the use of a Rolls Royce Silver Spur to convey you to a restaurant within ten miles of Surf Bay Lodge and return you back to the lodge, breakfast in bed cooked by a local chef, plus many other lovely inclusions.

We have 67 five * reviews on AirBnB and are now classed as a Superhost which is quite amazing and would like to thank the team for their hard work in maintaining standards.

If you would like to celebrate an occassion at SBL we can decorate the house/lodge with banners, balloons etc to your specification, this would be at an extra cost to cover the materials.

The Burrows is great for dog walking and looked lovely pre-sunset and during. There is nothing like sitting in the Spa at Surf Bay Lodge and watching the sunset over the Burrows. We are making some fabulous additions to the house, read our new blog on our website and keep up to date with the latest news.

We had a lovely stay here - the pool & hot tub made it extra special. The pool was lovely and warm, and even though it was chilly outside, we still had a very enjoyable swim. The lodge was very clean and had lovely interior. Would definitely recommend!
We had a fantastic weekend at this lovely house/lodge. The pool was well used by the children, and the hot tub by the adults!
Gorgeous views from a luxurious venue, little touches like champagne and chocolates on arrival, made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this holiday rental.

This place is fantastic, from the beautiful building to the stunning views to Neil the wonderful host! The hot tub and pool is just the icing on the cake.

This amazing find was found originally through air B&B whilst finding a place to rest during our walk of the South West Coastal Path. And what a find, this whole place is stunning..
We were surprised just how large this place was, there are 4/5 rooms and a little bungalow just situated at the back of the house which is dog friendly.
We were shown round by our host Neil, such a warm and welcoming host who very quickly made us feel very at home. We were able to use all the facilities in the property which included the kitchen, lounge, heated pool and hot tub.
The house has the most stunning views overlooking the coastline of Appledore and Westward Ho, and we throughly enjoyed the beautiful sunset whilst sat in the hot tub. What better way to relax than to watch the sun go down over the south west coastal path we had earlier that day walked. The following morning Neil cooked us a lovely full English to set us up again for a day full of walking.
Perfect location, stunning views and very lovely and welcoming host. Will most certainly be back very soon.
