It’s a challenge to achieve perfection but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t strive to attain it”.
The South West Snooker Academy is a testament to this and provides our local, national and international guests with a unique experience and a memory they’ll cherish forever.
From creation to completion the desire for perfection was embedded into the design of our building. Even now, two years after opening our doors there are times when I look around and find myself swept up by the uniqueness of our facility.
Shortly after opening we were awarded the honour as a ‘centre of excellence’ by snookers governing bodies, WPBSA & EBSA. We regularly stage prestigious sporting events, fulfilling our original ambition to become one of the worlds foremost cue sport promoters.

Overview;
Nothing in cue sport compares to the South West Snooker Academy building.
Built in meticulous detail with a pure Snooker concept. From the foundation, which was specially sunk to remove the possibility of building movement.
The air circulation systems were specifically engineered to allow regulated air flow with exacting moisture content to reduce levels of fatigue.
Additionally the air conditioning is set at a constant level to provide the optimum temperature to maintain each Snooker table cloth.

I’ve just won the Pink Ribbon (yes it’s Andrew Norman that writes the SWSA posts!)
... I’m so proud to win this event... I played my heart out and played some serious good Snooker to fend off the quality opponents!
I beat Harvey Chandler and he put me under so much pressure.. I’ve never seen such quick fire scoring!
As ever, I & the SWSA want to thank all the players for making the event what it is... we had more entries this year meaning we raised more than £9000 for breast Cancer Now.
Special mention to the Belgium & Irish players for travelling over to SWSA .. great performance from Ben Mertens
Next year is our Pink Ribbon 10th Anniversary and we would love to smash through the £100,000
Clive Brown once again ran a beautifully smooth event, we had a few 2am finishes.
Clive and the team of referees give offer free time and do not get paid whatsoever.. we really are so thankful for there support.
Monique Limbo’s continues to cover the event with her amazing photo skills.. beaming the event all around the world for all to see .. thank you

Fantastic set up at the southwest snooker academy, best place in the area to go for a practice in my opinion, really nice players lounge as well with fully stocked bar, tea and coffee and food menu also. Snooker tables are always in excellent condition. Looking forward to be competing with their tournaments in 2017 !! Great atmosphere and buzz 😉😉
