Well done Exeter Vale. I ordered a birthday cake for my son for delivery today. Unfortunately when the cake arrived it wasn't in great shape so I sent it back for a refund. Shortly afterwards I received a phone call from customer services apologising and offering to deliver me another cake today ready for tomorrow's party. This afternoon you delivered me two cakes and some miniature chocolate treats for the party. That's excellent customer service and my son will be delighted with his T-Rex and Gruffalo cakes. Two cakes for a second birthday

Today I visited the store to get some photos printed off my iPhone ..., not a clue what I had to do but seems it doesn't like Apple iPhones lol .... the young man that helped me went far beyond the call of duty to help me and I'm very grateful x

Super impressed with the man on the self service checkouts furthest from the door around 16:15 today. He was absolutely brilliant with my 2 year old who had caused nothing but trouble for everyone who crossed her path from the moment she walked in. He entertained her brilliantly, had her smiling in no time and still managed to help me with my bags. Man at the till you are a legend, you have my thanks �

I would just like to say a huge Thank you to the chef in the cafe. I stopped for a coffee while shopping with the kids, There were no colouring pages left but he saw me look for them, he came over with some fresh paper, was very chirpy and said that if we ever came again they are always happy to help. Very impressed!

I went up to the cafe area today shortly before it closed and asked if I had enough time for a clotted cream tea, unfortunately there weren't any scones left but was instead offered a jacket potato with cream and jam as an alternative by the chef. Although I turned the offer down I was delighted by the excellent customer service. The waitress was also brilliant and made me an excellent cup of coffee even offering to bring it across for me if I sat down. This is consistent with the great levels of customer service I have found throughout the store.

I was using the self check out this evening with my 2 year old son around 8.15pm - normally he's in bed!!!

The man that was there to help was superb, talking to my son getting him involved, it was so nice to see and finished it off with a high five!!

Haven't done on line shopping for a while and felt bad when the lorry turned up with my drive full of workmen/vans but the driver never complained and even picked his way through the drive with me to put the shopping in the kitchen! Great bloke/great service - thank you Tesco!

Had lunch before shopping, lovely jacket potato, endless refill on my soft drink, fab price too, staff were lovely, only downfall was there is only one loo, bit of a bouncy queue going on!! Store was well stocked and clean, a lovely shopping experience!

Absolutely amazing experience...Charlotte and her colleague ( sorry can't spell her name ) were absolutely brilliant..they kindly donated two small trolley full of drink,choc,sweets & crisps for the emergency services that were working day and night tackling The Royal Clarence Hotel fire ..it has restored my faith in mankind ..thank you Exeter Vale !!!!

So I collected my 'click and collect' shopping this evening, many thanks. I requested, as always, that my shopping not be packed in bags (ever mindful of the plastic bag scenario). However, it turns out that my picker is less than mindful. 8 red bags in total (those that are supplied 'to keep it separate'), plus one red onion in vegetable bag, with a label on it, when everyone knows to take the outer few layers off, and so mitigating any glue left by said label. Well, I'm pretty sure my watercress, spinach and rocket salad would not have minded sharing a bag with my pak choi. Both of which had separate bags. I'm also sure my turkey mince and whole chicken would also have been fine. BUT, it was good to see my mushrooms and spinach sharing a paper bag that has been made from 'responsible sources', (which I reckon should be intended for above said vegetables) with Cadbury's Pot of Joy.



I specifically request no bags, so you should adhere to this. I don't care if my chicken is in the same bag as my bread...one would hope your original packaging doesn't leak and therefore is a problem.

First time I have weekly shopped at Tesco . The bill was slightly down on our usual shop which was encouraging. This is the second time I have had a coffee at Tesco the first was a Costa which was rubbish and the coffee this time was rubbish .Will make sure I get a coffee at a proper Costa before the next shop .

Very rude cashier. She refused to serve me for a scratch card because I had my 6 year old with me and she wanted to pick which one for me (which I have done countless times before) very rude and blunt and had a horrible attitude towards myself and my daughter. Tesco itself was a pleasure as always, the cashier on the other hand needs an attitude check!

Had coffee and choc muffin and both myself and wife had severe stomach upset. Tried to complain but not taken seriously and 5 days later heard nothing. Best avoid. Cakes were not fresh or covered.
