Went yesterday with my friend for lunch. (Haven't been there in years!) Wow! Warm reception from the staff, very friendly. Spoilt for choice with the lunch options, so after drooling I opted for the Pie of the Day. Superb! Looking forward to testing their delights again soon. X

Took my wife there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and was not disappointed, the food was excellent and good quality, service was very friendly, helpful and the pub itself is a lovely quiet idealic place to eat. Will be returning again soon

Just had lunch at the Beer Engine, for Valentine Day with Hubby.Great meal and the service admirable, Very friendly and helpful staff. Even supplied me with container to take the half I couldn't manage home :)

Just had a lovely meal at The Beer Engine (Fish pie and loads of tasty vegetables) and spent time catching up with friends I haven't seen in a very long time. Great friendly service and a wonderful atmosphere! I will most certainly go again!

Just great. Sunday lunch was fantastic today at this proper little gem of a pub. Everything on the roast was gluten-free so my wife could enjoy her birthday lunch. Many thanks to all the staff who could not have been more helpful.

Fantastic pub. Food was amazing, staff were so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Beautiful outdoor space and embracing atmosphere. I will definitely go back and would recommend anyone else to!

A great afternoon all round!

Fabulous dinner again last night. Never had a bad meal here yet! A great place to chill and enjoy their own real ales. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help you enjoy your evening! Would highly recommend but would advise you book. Thanks to Victoria, Will, Jamie and the rest of the staff for looking after us and ensuring we keep returning! :)
