Hi every one , after a very emotional week I would like to say
We at the B.P do not condone in any way the level of violence that happened here on the 28th , all party's have been barred and will not be returning to the pub at any time. It has totally shocked me (im a country girl) and opened my eyes up to the big city .... it made my legs wobble for days
Also after seeing the fb comments and listening to a lot of locals here ,.... i have decided to put Kev and Rob on my ...doors from next Friday, no disrespect from me personally to mike and keith but I am the landlady. you guys ( locals)keep.this ship floating and I have no intention of upsetting you all , and I.would.like to apologise to anyone if I have . I promised you wen I got here to give you your pub back and thats what I am gonna trying to keep doing . Thanks Tracy xxx

I was here on the 24th Feb 2017 my husband plays in a band The Skore! It was a brilliant night! The pub is lovely and clean as soon as you walk through the door! Great refurb!! Landlady was really nice and easy to talk to, dog was lovely too! Great atmosphere and would definitely come back again!!

Great pub - bar staff better than any local opposition. Clientele friendly. Put it this way would rather walk an additional 20 mins for a beer than the non sociallable people at the Hop. Plus beer prices at 75% is a plus.

Friendly locals and an amazingly friendly landlady.
