User

What a fabulous Jam Packed open mic session tonight, 17.10.17. What stunning musicians we have in Plymouth and most of them make their way to The Bread and Roses pub at some stage.

User

What a beautiful find! Shared wonderful space with majikal folk, great atmosphere and splendid tunes.

The attention given to my children was quite something, curried goat, beef pho, squid and chicken picnic.

Big love to the Laydee chef who made the guys a special treat of eggs and rice, we all truly loved our time and will return as soon as! X

User

The Bread and Roses has gone from strength to strength as a community hub full of wonderful local talented entertainment. A friendly atmosphere; if you don't know anyone as you step in through the door, you will have a friend before you leave. The latest venture with breakfasts and lunch is great.

User

Thanks Bread and Roses for not using plastic straws. Please can you get vegan or fairtrade hot chocolate now instead of Cadbury. Cadbury have been found guilty of cutting down rainforest illegally to grow cocoa beans..as have nescafe...also vegan alternative to milk if cost allows. .

User

Real swell pub. Great staff and friendly locals. Little bit more pricey than drinking establishments on North Hill, but undoubtedly worth it. Regular guest beers and the occasional guest spirit. Definitely my favourite place to drink during the day and early evening.

User

Plymouth's finest Arts Hub/Pub with an original eclectic array of both beverage and entertainment!! Creative, warm, homely and welcoming day and night.

User

My favourite pub in Plymouth. Great staff & beer selection. Always new ales on tap. Lot of local (Devon & Cornwall) taps. 'Mature' customers, bit quirky. Love it.

User

I've been to the & 's multiple times, there's something incredibly magical & unique about this place, the great service and vibe reminds me of a painting 'A Bar At The Folies-bergere' by Edouard Manet, which has inspired me to maybe create my own take on this beautiful painting.

User

I love this place, and the Monday night acoustic music events have been a joy (y)

User

Great pub, lovely people & fab choice of beers. The more unusual beers come with the higher price tag to match & the music can get quite loud (or I'm getting quite old!), but such s good vibe.

Only place in Plymouth like it.

Though if you know of other good pubs, do share!

User
