Music has always been an integral part of life at sea. From the 1920’s onwards all major liners had ballrooms and bands on board to entertain the passengers. It wasn’t until after the Great War ended that dance music on board really took off. The major shift was the change in emphasis from the classical repertoire, to the popular new music which was sweeping the modern world.
Join us in the Chart Room First Class Coffee Lounge for High Tea and enjoy Grand Salon Sounds, performed by Sandy Sparkle, Devon’s own Forces Sweetheart. Guests will be greeted with complimentary glass of fizz on arrival followed by Homemade Sandwiches, Scones, Seasonal Cakes & Pastries and Unlimited Tea or Coffee. All in the splendid Art Deco Ocean Liner themed Chart Room First Class Coffee Lounge, Brixham.
