We had a fabulous day, everything was fab the only thing was the main pool was chilly which we were warned about. The outdoor area was fabulous in the sunshine and we spent most of the day in and out if the hot tub out there. The lunch that came with the package was fantastic. All 7 of our party had different things from the Italian menu and each dish was great as well as the seduce in the restaurant. We had a group in deal and it was great value for money and exceeded all of the groups expectations. Thank you �

This was our 4th visit staff were really friendly

The only bit if not picking was the outside hot tub was to hot hotter than a bath . No one would go in with the weather being gorgeous and sunny would have been good to go cool off . Food was lovely too. We will be back .

Just had my second visit, although this time I actually got to sample all the facilities (I was pregnant on a hen do last visit) Spent a relaxing few hours enjoying the spa facilities which weren’t too busy. The outdoor jacuzzi is lovely, even in the cold weather. Also went to the restaurant upstairs for a late lunch and food was delicious. Staff in all areas were polite and attentive. Will definitely be back to have another break from the kids!

Just finished my first aquafit class and it was superb, the teacher was high energy and great fun and kept people of all lveles motivated. I also had fab afternoon at the weekend swimming and enjoying the sun on the sun deck with a cool drink on the patio. I would definately recommend joining

Had a girly spa day yesterday, loved it! The weather made a difference as spent alot of time enjoying the sun outside on the loungers! Lovely Jacuzzi outside and good sized pool! Lunch and prosecco went down a treat and excellent service, Mark couldn't of done enough for us and kept us topped up with iced water on a hot day! To end the day we chilled out in the relaxing dark room. Definitely recommend to go here�

Me and my husband went here for a spa day which we purchased on groupon. We have been here a couple of years ago and love the improvements that have been put in place since our last visit. We especially enjoyed the outside hot tub with great views and the quiet relaxation room. We were greeted by friendly staff. The food was very good with a great choice on the menu with a lovely glass of bubbly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Please be aware of the negative comments you overhear from club members about spa day guests using the facilities.

It didn't spoil our day though! We will be back again!

Lovely spa set in in a lovely location. Spa has been refurbished and the staff on reception were more attentive. It did seem strange that the spa facilities were accessed via the restaurant. Facilities were amazing and loved the outside jacuzzi the best. There were some lovely sun beds but they seemed to be in great demand and were being reserved with towels. I was a little upset that we could have used the gym and attended the classes but we not advised at the time of booking. Lunch was amazing and service was very attentive. It was a little disconcerting that we were sat there in our robes and other people were dressed up for their day out. Two treatments were booked massage was amazing and although painful got rid of those knots which was well worth it. Treatment was followed by a facial which was also amazing too. Lovely day out with the daughter which was for her 18th birthday

Have just got back from a lovely relaxing day .. I had two lovely treatments with Lisa .. a facial being one and it was one of if not the best facial I have ever had � thank u so much my skin feels lovely .. only Critism I’d have is it’s a bit of an odd layout and having to walk through the restaurant part but that can’t be helped and quite a few people with small children around pool but understand that it is members club aswell not just a spa .. lovely day thank u

Was appointed at the start as Reception not forth coming & just left us considering we had never been before & not nice atmosphere not friendly & it was like too much trouble but once in atmosphere ok & Restauranr staff were super friendly & helpful so not bad in the end Reception Staff need to brush up on Customer Care Skills I worked in a Leisure Centre for 14 years & our Reception being 1st point of call were always friendly & helpful it's a shame that this let centre down

Not the best spa experience I’ve had, was more of a Health Club where members of the public were using the same facilities as us. Pool and jacuzzi got very busy and the outdoor jacuzzi was out of order, which was very disappointing as it was a lovely day. The relaxation room had a really horrible smell as soon as you walked in, not nice to relax in. We were lucky it was such a lovely day so we could lie outside for a lot of the time. Lunch was very good though. Would not go again.

Iv been to this spa many times but today was not as enjoyable. The indoor hot tub was not in use the outdoor one felt gritty and left red marks on my knee as I nealt down. There was a class in the pool with ment we couldn't use that part but the main problem was the instructor was so loud you could here her outside. When we went for lunch we went for pizza like we do every time we were disappoint to receive half a pizza no mention was made of this in the past visits it has been a whole one. Many little things lead to a less enjoyable visits. Sincerely miss c Adams

Came with 2 friends yesterday for a spa day. This being a 2nd time for 2 of us. The staff were friendly. Unfortunetly the jacuzzi was out of order but i had been contacted about this half hour before our appointment time although we were already on on way. Being a bank holiday it was busier and lots of children there as expected and was told this may be the case when booking. It is very clear that the members hate when people come for spa days or with children. There were 2 female members having a very loud conversation right next to us in the changing room moaning about the children (in front of a child) and non members using the facilities and being very intimidating and belittlingabout non members. I think this was done on purpose. Not the staff's fault ofcourse but reading other reviews maybe this needs looking into. Maybe set days or times for non members? I don't expect to pay money to have a nice experience and be looked down on by somebody just because they are a member. The food on the otherhand was very nice although took a little while to arrive but again as it was a bank holiday maybe was busier than normal. I'm sad to say i am unsure whether to come back for my next spa day due to the attitudes of certain members.

Came for a spa day yesterday.. was a lovely day however the pool is SO cold, miserably cold! The relaxation room also has an awful smell that hits you as soon as you walk through to get to the outdoor hot tub.... the room itself looks lovely but the smell really is terrible.

Me and my friend booked spa treatments that were for the same time and same duration however my friend was waiting for me for about 20 mins even though I came out the time both of our treatments were meant to finish ... hers was clearly rushed and not the duration she paid for .. have seen a few reviews on here saying treatment times were cut short....

Can't fault the restaurant and food was really nice ..great service.

The spa is laid out very strangely. You walk through a restaurant to get to the spa but the queue was so long we were waiting in the restaurant while people were eating to get to spa reception.

You then walk a way downstairs to the changing rooms and pool. Not enough chairs by the pool. Most are outside . Swimming costume dryer was broken.

Gym was great lots of equipment to use ..lunch again upstairs next yo the entrance to the spa. Which we could hear staff talking about other staff . Very unprofessional. Treatment was meant to last 55 mins. .I was out in half an hr. The girl was lovely though .

We just found it a very weird layout ..ip and down all the time..nothing flowed we won't be going back.

Not the luxury experience we had paid for. The are limited places to relax if the weather prevents you from sitting outside. Once we'd swam and used the steam room there was lunch, which was fine, but we then had over a two hour wait for our treatments. I'd asked for them to be after lunch, but was advised to have them much later to get the full benefit from the day. So a day spa is not a day, it was two hours sat in the restaurant drinking coffee while we waited for our treatments. It was a birthday treat for my daughter but it certainly wasn't that. The treatments were fine but by then we just wanted to leave.

My last spa day was a lovely experience but the difference was the lack of places to relax and not enough information given to me when I booked the day. The waiting area/ relaxation area is small, dark and has purple glitter walls, a strange space to be trying to relax.

I do not feel that we had value for money, £200. We won't be returning.

I visited this spa for my friends hen weekend - I found the girls in the spa reception to be very unprofessional and just gave us our robes and sent us on our way not knowing where to go or where to go for treatments etc either. When having my treatment I could hear alot of noise coming from other staff members outside. I know at other spas the treatment rooms are in total silence so you can relax. I believe other local spas would be far more conscious of people coming to relax not hearing the latest gossip. There was very minimal "water stops" around the facility and the staff were also very reluctant to provide fresh robes when asked. I found it off putting that The pool was open to everyone, people coming in with their children when The idea of it for me was to escape The children for a few hours and relax. The outside space is very small for The amount of people in the spa. We were all fighting for The only outside Jacuzzi because The weather was so lovely. The service and the food quality in the restaurant was out of this world!!! Altho I would have much preferred a "spa guest" section instead of being bare skined and semi naked in front of the other resturant go-ers who were all dressed to impress! Probably wouldn't return but didn't impact on me enjoying the day with the bride to be!!!

Despite several phone calls to make appointments for treatments, nobody ever answered the phone. I mentioned this to the staff on arrival and was told that this does seem to be an ongoing problem! Our morning spent in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room was lovely. However, when we went to the bistro for lunch I was advised that I had inadvertently printed off two copies of the same voucher and we would have to pay again (and then be refunded) before we could have lunch. We were made to feel quite awkward. However, I was able to show the groupon purchase on my phone and the issue got resolved. Our waitress was very pleasant and the Caesar salads were delicious. Loved the relaxation room after lunch. On checkout, I returned the locker key without the padlock (still in the locker) and I was told that I had to go back to get the padlock. All in all, my friend and I enjoyed the spa facilities but found the staff quite unobliging, not particularly welcoming and not conducive to relaxation! Not sure that I’d go back to the Spa even though I live locally and had been thinking of joining the club.

Arrived for a spa day 18/02/18. The receptionist was quick at signing us in. Nothing wrong with check in but we weren’t made to feel particularly welcome. Advised lunch was at 12 and not able to change this time which was at an awkward time seeing as we weren’t allowed to arrive until 11 so we were hanging around until it was time to eat. Both the pool jacuzzi and indoor jacuzzi were freezing! No way I could sit in either of them - very disappointing. There were no plastic cups on the water dispenser which meant we had to go all the way back to the restaurant to ask for a cup up there. Lunch was lovely, the staff were helpful. We then had a coffee before leaving and were not served our drink and had to take it away with us once we settled the bill.

Went with my mum & 2 sisters as we had bought the gift for our mum for Christmas! Tried to use the pool during an aqua aerobics class to be ‘shoed’ away by the instructor and then asked to leave the pool by a club member, when in fact we were entitled to full use of the ‘facilities’ as later confirmed by the manager at ANY time. She was so stuck up and to be honest TERRIBLE at her job with no customer service skills whatsoever!

Only positive; Restaurant staff were amazingly polite and helpful.

However, when trying to leave as the day had been so disappointing, we were asked by the spa receptionist where our robes were. We explained we weren’t told they needed to be returned and there were no signs anywhere, so we had left them in the changing room. She was argumentative, rude & extremely condescending about the fact we hadn’t been told and quite clearly had no intention of getting them herself so my sister went all the way back to carry 4 robes and 4 towels with no offer of help!

It’s quite clearly not a SPA as advertised, just a glorified gym with treatment rooms! And a word to the wise, If your staff think it’s acceptable to look down their nose at people using the facilities via booking with groupon; I strongly suggest you rethink your marketing strategies! Absolutely awful and ruined our Mums Christmas present; and not even an apology!
