About The Cornish Arms

The 16th Century Cornish Arms is situated in the centre of Pendoggett village. A traditional inn with 7 ensuite rooms serving cask ales and good pub food.

The Cornish Arms Description

The 16th Century Cornish Arms is situated in the centre of Pendoggett village and is just 3 miles away from picturesque Port Isaac, on the North coast of Cornwall.

Padstow is a short drive away and is still a working fishing port and always has a great buzz about it.

There are numerous local attractions and places of interest to visit around the area. A great place for up to date information on local events, festivals, county shows and surfing competitions is www. visitcornwall.com. A few of our favourites are listed on our 'Things to do' page.

New Proprietors Geoff, Karen and their team provide a friendly, relaxed environment, good pub food and a comfortable bed after your hard day of sightseeing and explorations. We look forward to meeting customers both old and new to our traditional village inn.

What I call a "proper pub". We did a "Brit stop" in our Motorhome. After an 11 mile walk we came back and drank beer in the lovely beer garden and had a beautiful meal. All the staff were very friendly and prices were very reasonable. We only live in Truro, will definitely be doing more Brit stops there.

Twice here in a week.

Absolutely lovely place with great food and service. Quick response to emails in an area where phone reception is tricky.

Particularly loved the chilli, nice and spicy.

Will definitely be back when we are down this way again. Thank you.

Turned up at 7.45pm with no reservations on a busy night with my 99yr old Nana who can be rather fussy and a little awkward at times. They fit us in, were really accomodating, friendly and the food was wonderful and very reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again and would thoroughly recommend.

User

The cornish arms, very friendly, polite landlord & staff. The Sunday roast was served pipping hot to the table, very scrumptious. The beer was a fine pint. We certainly will be visiting again.

User

Thank you Karen & Geoff for hosting this month's lunch for 'Port Isaac Chorale'.

Booked 12 covers . . . . 19 turned up but the staff catered magnificently.

User

Food was lovely and the staff very friendly as we stopped in for lunch this week. We sat out in the garden which was peaceful and relaxing

User

A gem of a pub, friendly staff, great range of gins

User

Lovely little Pub with accommodation. Not the Ritz, but homely and welcoming. New owners since April, and doing a grand job. Had a lovely home style meal, good portions and value. Only negative, don’t have a Gin loving companion, their selection of 39 different Gins, they’ll keep you here for hours. Think we’ll be coming back here again.
