The Crofton Club

We are delighted to confirm the return of Forever Queen to The Crofton Club on Friday 5th July. They made a huge impact with their appearance in 2018 which coincided; unintentionally; with the release of Bohemian Rhapsody. Tickets are currently on sale from the bar or club office at £7 Members and £9 Non-Members. Children over 10 welcome but we regret there are no discounted tickets for this event.

Our next live music comes courtesy of local band The Jammers who return to the club on Saturday 1st June playing a selection of ska and mod classics. Admission on the door is just £3 for Members and £5 Non-Members. Children aged over 10 get half-price entry. We will also be showing the Liverpool v Tottenham Champions League Final in the front bar on the big screen.

Just to let members and guests know that we will be showing the play-off games between Sunderland and Portsmouth on the big screen in the front bar. The first leg is this Saturday at 7.30pm. We will also be showing the All English Champions League Final between Liverpool and Tottenham on Saturday 1st June alongside The Jammers in the back hall.

Big Brother Soul: Unfortunately this event will not now happen until 2020 due to a late request from the band to change the date following an invitation they had to perform at a local festival. With no other convenient dates for both parties available this year we look forward to welcoming them back in 2020 and will post further details here once confirmed.

Next up for us a very special night with the return of the fab four...The Silver Beatles on Saturday 11th May. Admission by ticket available from the bar or office. Please note children over 10 are welcome but there is no discounted child tickets for this event.

Thanks to those who came along on a hot sunny day to our Easter Bonnett Parade. A lot of effort into each and every hat which made judging an uneviable task.

Anyone that has seen the poster outside the club may have seen an error in the prices for Abba on Saturday. It should have read £4 Members and £6 Non-Members as it does on on our page here.

Just to let everyone know the club will be open from lunchtime on Easter Monday and that we will showing Pompey v Coventry on the big screen in the afternoon. Also Burton v Pompey on Good Friday afternoon and Newcastle v Southampton Easter Saturday. Its a busy weekend for us entertainment wise with swing jive on Good Friday, Abba Tribute on Saturday (both admission on the door) and our children's disco and Easter Bonnett competition on Easter Sunday followed by bingo in the evening. Hope you can join us at some point. Wishing a Happy Easter to all our members from the staff and management committee.

South Coast Swing Jive Hoppers have a Swing Jive Dance at the club on Friday 19th April. Any Swing Jivers are welcome to join in. It’s free to club members & £3 for non members, pay on the door. Over 18’s only please.

Next up our Easter Weekend Special with the return of the Abba Girls for a bumper singalong night with special offers on gin and prosecco all night. And why not dress up in your 70s gear! £2 admission for children over 10 yrs. Then Easter Sunday its our annual disco and Easter Bonnet parade. This is always well supported with a lot of work and imagination going into the bonnets with prizes for those judged the best. Admission is just £1 for children and free for adults. Looking ahead we are also delighted to welcome back The Silver Beatles on Saturday 11th May (£10 !Members; £12 Non-Members) and Forever Queen on Friday 5th July. (£7 Members; £9 Non-Members). Both these are ticketed events which are available from the club bar or office. We regret there are no discounts for children for these 2 events but those aged over 10 are welcome.

Thanks to all those that supported our Simply Weller tribute making it a great night. Next up this month is our Northern Soul Night on Saturday 30th March with DJ Terry Hendrick playing all the classic tunes on vinyl. Adnission is just £2 for all.

My best friend had her 21st a few years back and was amazing did not disappoint! And now my having my engagement party with you in April. Can not wait!

Me and a pal became members last night and I don’t think I’ve ever received such a warm welcome by any staff in any club than everyone at The Crofton Club. Even the regulars made conversation and made us feel welcome. A nice little find and I can safely say we’ll be visiting the club more and more.

Just been to the Club tonight for a charity event and the atmosphere was really nice, the regulars spoke to us all and didnt mind some of us being a bit tiddly... not myself i must say!!! Bar staff were really good too.. just need to tell them you do have Heineken in the fridge!!!! (Was a little joke i had with one of the lads!!!) Hope we will be back....

I brought my little girl to the Easter disco and bonnet parade (we didn't have one as new to me but we will next year). Never been here before. Was absolutely brilliant and a great day out for her and me. Loads of games/sweets and activities for the kids and great music. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done with such a fab event �

Had a great night at queen tribute. Top band. Love the club. Only bad thing is the smell that greets you when you first walk in. Shut the men's toilet door!!
