Live Music, Friday 21st September from 8pm

Dear all, due to the weather we are unable to hold our BBQ as planned. We will therefore be offering a BBQ style menu for today only. Sorry to anyone who was planning a visit and hoping for a roast dinner.

The weather gods have decreed that tomorrow it will storm, but we are fighting back. We will never stop. Our event will go on, but inside where it's dry and warm :)

Come along on the 26th August from 2pm for the Big Dol Bash to support charity - You won't want to miss this!

The live music line up is at Dolph Fest:
3.15 to 4/4.15pm - Alex Kriche Alex is a world class musician/performer based in the south of England. He performs a mixture of modern and classic songs in a unique style. A smoky and soulful voice accompanied by excellent guitar playing. Alex is a genuine talent whose performances are always interactive, warm and soulful.
... 4.30 to 5.15/30pm - Ashya A great singer who draws her inspiration from the likes of Whitney Houston, Pattie La Belle, Gladys Night to the melodious sounds Nora Jones and Sade Anu. Although her genre is mainly Soul and Motown tunes, she also cover many other classics from the 60s all the way to the present era.
5.45 to 6.30/45pm - Ben Reid Performs a great mix of classic indie music. The kind of songs that you didn't even realize you knew the words to and that you won't be able to get out of your head for some time after. A set of real crowd pleasing anthems, delivered by a cracking singer/musician.
7.00 to 7.45pm - Danielle May Danielle hits that quirky, cool performer mark with ease. She sings songs on the more pop edgy side of things and knows how to get the audience into the good time that she always has on stage. She brings an excellent and infectious energy to any gig.
8.00 to 8.45pm - Robbie Rich Robbie performs his solo sax act, playing many styles, including favourites such as Baker Street, Stranger on the Shore, The Girl from Ipanema, Take 5 and Songbird. His repertoire moves to pop and rock, and sideways to easy listening, funk, blues and soul.
The indoor band details: 9/9.15 to 11/11.15pm - Reheated Reheated are a collection of freelance musicians who love nothing more then to get together and have a good ol' jam! But don't be fooled by the 'jam' tag! These guys are well versed in performing great and popular songs in the slickest style. They're a young but that defies their brilliant talent.

Family Fun Day with Live Music and Activities for all the family

27th July Live Music Paddy Edgar Sings many of the classic popular songs across genres. With his impressive vocal range, he is equally able to cover up-to-date music.

Went there today for my Sunday lunch was looking for a regular place to go in the area & now I have found it, we all had a roast dinner was plenty of meat which was so tender, plenty of delicious vegetables cooked to perfection, the waiting staff were very friendly, the chef even came out with extra gravy for us and seemed lovely, I would highly recommend this place

We visited this week for lunch and it was perfect, staff were very friendly, food was fantastic. It’s the first time we have visited since the refurb and it didn’t disappoint, beautiful decor too x

Tried something off the new menu as normall go for Chicken Skewers or Chicken and rice, but highly recommend the Jerk Chicken so tasty, came with rice, and a choice of salsa source or coleslaw. Good service, love the staff there, friendly helpful and looking forward to going back on Saturday! Every day there is an offer and with the new menu, good reason to go!

Thank you for a lovely evening celebrating an event with friends. You reserved a perfect area for us and were attentive.

One of the nicest meals i had .roast potatoes were lovely and huge Yorkshire pudding .

The place has been refurbished since i last visited and is now a very pleasant place to have a meal or drink .

Would definitely visit again ..

New look and menu has made it a classier place to eat. Good value food and the smaller portion option was welcome. I would recommend it for anyone looking for something a bit better than the hungry horse that it was before.

Me and my family came here for breakfast on a Friday morning and the breakfast was really nice here

Lovely pub for adults, delicious food and great service.

I just played a two hour set of cover songs at The Dolphin. It is such a great pub, the bar staff and owners were very friendly and welcoming. They have a great selection of beers available and a full menu of great food. The audience were superb and really appreciate their live music. I hope to come back soon! Thanks x

Great refurb! The Dolphin is elegantly furnished yet still cosy and comfortable. The menu is very tasty and reasonable. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful.

Foods always great, good selection of beers, spirits and cocktails, live music every Friday could there be a better way to start off the weekend?! ����

Exceptionally delicious roast today! Thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. As good as the roast we cook at home so top marks to the chef! Thank you. Lovely to have some chilled live music too to accompany our lazy Sunday. A great vibe. All so utterly perfect.

Currently sat in here having breakfast. Scrumptious breakfast, beautiful surroundings and service with a smile, a perfect start to a beautiful Sunny day.

A great refurbishment. We have been in here both for a drink and a few days later a meal. We had a lovely meal of Ham with sautéed potatoes and egg and a halloumi salad with some sweet potato fries, all great.

A lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

Forget the Dolphin pub that people have known for years, it's completely different!! The new layout is brilliant with smaller cosier eating areas away from the bar its self. I had ham, egg and potatoes which They do in 2 sizes the smaller of the 2 costing only £6.95 and still being a generous amount of food!! The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. What more could you ask for??

We popped in on Saturday afternoon , food was great service was fab and great to know they were dog friendly

My only disappointment was shame they did not do mulled wine to be fair it was begin of Dec . Definitely be back soon

We were a pre-booked group of 20 celebrating 3 birthdays. After ordering our food we waited. And waited. And waited. Finally food started coming but not for everyone. Those not having starters had finished eating before others had even got their starters. Worse, was the quality of the food - a mix of cold or burnt. Whoever was is charge of the kitchen on Sunday should be ashamed and seriously consider doing something different because you don't cut it.
