So we need a competition.... who is a member of our Club who lives the furthest away. Roger and Kay have touched down from Indian Harbor Beach, Florida. They don’t use the ‘u’ over the pond 😁 Roger pays his dues every year even though he is not here......... When he is over he spends every Sunday getting rid of his Pound Sterling 😋 Well now he is. We’ll give him a huge welcome on Sunday I hope. ...... and we will have another auction in aid of our so very worthwhile causes this year. You have grown to love our auctions, but we promise that our Chairman will be sober this time. He said it’s your fault for being so passionate about our causes xxxxx

Hello everyone. Following our successful application to vary our Club Premises Licence, I am pleased to announce that from Tuesday 30th April, we will be open from 10.00am Tuesday through to Saturdays. The kitchen will still open at noon but the bar will be open for alcohol sales from 10.00am. Sunday’s and Monday’s we will continue to open at 12 noon. Do watch this space as we are planning for the kitchen to be open in the near future at 10 for breakfast / brunch. Exciting times 👍👍👍👍👍

For those who have already bought and for those yet to buy your tickets for our St George’s night, this is on Friday 26th April, not Saturday. Robbie Williams tribute act tonight

Hello all, We are all looking forward to seeing you for our Robbie Williams tribute night on Saturday 6th April. Please be advised that we have a private function that same afternoon that will not finish until 6:30 - 7:00pm. The Staff and Committee will work hard to clear up and make the function room available for you all, BUT, please be advised that the function room will not be open until after this. For those that want to turn up early to secure a good seat, please feel free to use our smaller bar until you are called in to take your seats. This is likely to be at about 7:15pm. Enjoy the evening 😁

Hello everyone, I am so sorry but due to being let down today by the gas engineer, we STILL have not had fitted, the solonoid valve to allow gas into the kitchen. We are open for food cooked on the fryers and griddle but sadly no oven. This means at the moment NO carvery on Sunday. I apologise again for this blip in our otherwise excellent service to our members and guests. Should this be resolved tomorrow I will notify immediately.

For clarification, the kitchen closure is as a result of a faulty solonoid valve that has left us with no gas feed to the kitchen. This will be rectified early next week. We thank you all for your patience.
