The landlords Paul and Steve are the nicest people I know! They are always happy to help and so are the bar staff. Steve has an excellent knowledge of Gins and mixers. Paul is fantastic in general, his brewery knowledge is out of this world. Food is always delicious, fresh and newly made from the head chef at The Explorer on a daily basis. Me and Gareth love it here and would never go back to our local just up the road.

The explorer is the best pub going! It has a brilliant atmosphere. The food is amazing and when it comes to the themed party's... well... its out of this world and is a fantastic evening, enjoyed by all.

My sister took me for lunch here today and it was amazing, best Thai Green curry ever. Thank you Paul for being the perfect host �

Just popped in for food while travelling lands end to John O'groats...

Had a great green curry, cider was clean crisp and delishhhhh

They let me charge phone and made me feel so welcome!

Had my wife's 30th birthday meal here, was made to feel very welcome and they made our table look very nice. Good food and beer. In all a lovely evening. Thanks guys ..

Great pub! Very cosy and comfortable with knowledgeable staff and a massive selection of drinks. Outstanding Gin and Rum selection, on top of some great ales and wines, so they have really catered for everyone. The atmosphere is friendly with a nice energy to it. They have just started doing food, which is of great quality and at an amazing price. 100% worth a visit.

Great food. Great people. Great beer. The perfect place to chill out and enjoy a nice beer with nice people.
