Proceeds from this event are going to Women's Aid. The Yacht Tavern in Woolston have had a very impressive outdoor re-vamp 🤩It will be a wonderful day/evening in the sunshine with some great music. I have designed a guitar to be auctioned in aid of this event. The artwork is original and I have signed the headstock. Please follow The Yacht Tavern page for more details of how to take part. The Yacht Tavern Owner, Tara Jayne, has worked really hard to make this happen so let give it lots of support. Many cuts have been made to organisations who support venerable women and children throughout the country that's why it is more important than every to donate and value the work done by Women's Aid and those like Tara Jayne who support it with fundraising events like this.

So went to the Guitar Shop to have my old entry level guitar fixed and Jamie gave the advice that for my level I would benefit from upgrading instead of fixing a problematic cheap guitar. He spent quite some time with me explaining my different options and what would be good options to progress to, at no point did I feel pressured to buy just good old fashioned advice and the man clearly loves what he does! After playing a while I set my heart on a guitar I played which improved my playing the second I picked it up. The price was great the customer service was exceptional and now im a customer for life. Looking forward to my guitar service in 4 weeks which was included in the sale so what more could you ask for!

My new eden bass amp went **** up and under warranty was picked up, fixed delivered back within 2 weeks - great service

I own a martin Omxae which are pretty hard to come by. I lost the input nut for the jack and the guys sorted me out!

Great repair service from Jamie, replaced the broken machine head on my Epiphone Masterbilt acoustic while I waited.. no fuss, & no shock either when I settled up! Thanks guys.. love to buy that archtop we spoke about when I'm next in town :-)

Bought a Les Paul traditional from the Guitar Store on Saturday. What a great experience. Informed advice from passionate staff in a relaxed atmosphere. I was allowed to take my time trying different guitars without any pressure at all. Was even bought a coffee! Great service all round. Thank you!

Bought a Fender CD140SCE electro-acoustic last month. Lovely guitar to play, but just one wee problem discovered later....but grateful to Jamie this morning for promptly sorting out the persistent buzzing on the D string around the third fret; loose wire now affixed to the interior of the guitar. No more resonant rattling, and the guitar's even more of a joy to play now. Thanks Jamie!



Just adding an update today (11 October 2017) to thank Jamie for prompt and friendly service, fixing the loose jack on my acoustic guitar, right there and then. All done for a takeaway filter coffee from across the road. That's the sort of deal I like! :-)

Amazing store, huge range of everything and lovely, helpful staff. The missing nut on the switch for my Big Muff was replaced for free by these guys earlier today, great stuff!

A five star rating from two very happy customers :) I bought a Fender Telecaster and Blackstar amp for my son, Ethan. After six months he was having trouble with rattle due to messing around with the biridge. We went back to the store for advice and instead of just telling us what to do, they completely re-setup the guitar. The service these guys give is fantastic.

Popped in today for a few a few screws for the tuners on my ukulele. Half a dozen supplied free of charge. Many thanks!
