About The Hive Artshouse
Welcome to the The Hive Artspace, a new multi-arts venue for Warminster, Wiltshire.
In the coming months, we hope to be redeveloping the former St John's School site into an arts hub hosting touring performance, facilitating rehearsals and curating /producing arts events and workshops in house. To this end, we are in the process of setting up a charity to oversee these exciting developments which will include outdoor studios in the old playground - a ceramic studio and an outdoor arts space around a courtyard garden.
The resident performance company at The Hive is the newly formed Storyhouse Arts under the artistic direction of Sarafina Carter.

Here is an eighteenth century Japanese gown made using Shibhori resist techniques and natural indigo dye. Shibhori is so versatile and can be applied to home furnishings as well as clothes and for upcycling textiles.
We're running a starter Shibori workshop at The Hive on 21 August. The tutor Lesley Fudge will be expertly guiding you to make your own exquisite bag.
