Renegade are a Blues Rock Band playing in the Dorset area, we have supported Wilko Johnson, Nine Below Zero,Sonny Black and the Dukes, and the Ian Parker band just to name a few.

The Stereo Kings are a four-piece live rock and pop band gigging in and around the Bournemouth and Christchurch area of Dorset in the south of England.
They play a diverse selection of upbeat songs covering several musical styles and guarantee we'll get you dancing, singing and waving those hands!

2 Saxophonist, 1 trumpet, 2 guitarist, keyboard, and drummer support the vocalist and what a support it is! Energetic, electrifying and exciting throughout their sets ensuring that the audience enjoy their performance as much as they do.

We had dinner whilst we was away for the weekend here and would highly recommend. I emailed them to ask if they reserve tables and was completely blown away with how quick the response was. Food was lovely and staff were all very friendly, we was located in a lovely part of the restaurant and the children were welcomed too. Lovely selection on the menu too and very reasonable prices- nothing we would want to change at all.

Superbly run pub, very friendly from management right down to the barstaff and the locals are very friendly too. Loved my two nights in there and will deffo be coming back, if they'll indeed, have me. Great little gaff!

Ordered chilli con carne and bangers and mash for my partner, both received before I’d even finished my lovely pint of Wainwrights. Both meals well presented, hot, generous portions and good value at £7.95 each. The place was very busy but the service was excellent 10/10

Loved this pub... Weekend away... Popped in for a drink Fri evening... Great atmosphere... Friendly Staff... Helpful with choice of gins.. Good for sports viewing. Went back on Saturday... Stayed all afternoon.. Had a great meal very reasonably priced and good quality... Can highly recommend it..

I discovered The Hop Inn whilst on holiday this week, and am so pleased I found this gem of an establishment. The staff were very polite and friendly, plus there was a good general atmosphere allround. Whay kept me going there each day, was the food. My compliments to the chef, for producing some really tasty well cooked meals. It was good to have some decent home cooked food and at reasonable prices. I tried the steak and ale pie, chicken and leek pie, lasagne and 8oz rump during my stay, and it was obvious that fresh and quality ingredients were being used. If you go there to watch sport, there are a large number of TV's spaced across the premises, ensuring that you get a view from wherever you are.

I look forward to going there again, when next in the area.

Had a couple of great nights.. Friday karaoke and Saturday live band.... Staff were all very friendly... Managed to watch football and boxing which was an added bonus

Fab place, very friendly staff, they were happy to help with any thing you needed while we was there, great atmosphere on karaoke evening & the place was packed out for the boxing.

Excellent pub with a good selection of beers and tasty food both at good prices. Visited on a stopover in Bournemouth and will definitely come back to the Hop Inn if I have the opportunity.

I we there with family n friends on a stag party I found the staff friendly n polite the rooms clean n tidy we only had the breakfast there as we were out all day but it was nice would I go back there ??yes I would one last thing the bar prices were reasonable

Had some lovely meals since arriving on Saturday, but when popping in yesterday evening we didn't want to eat a big meal and so ordered children's meals (our 10 year old was with us). The guy was putting the order through, when the manager came over and cancelled it, saying that it couldn't be done as if they did it for us they'd have to do it for everyone and loose money. Well they lost money anyway, cause we ordered a childs meal and meal that we shared between us. Silly rule as they would have made more money buy letting us order 3 children's meals and wasted less food ��

Well , go there for breakfast most Sundays with a couple mates and it’s usually excellent except for this Sunday , ordered breakfast at 09.47 no coffee and I don’t drink tea had to wait 35 minutes to get a coffee. Ok but we didn’t get out Breakfasts till 11.03 witch by the we were really annoyed as I had to be with my grandchildren at 11 am, but after all that the breakfast was cold and it’s not good enough!!!!

As a local, and for the fourth time in recent months, Ive been overcharged for my pint. Yesterday I ordered my usual pint and handed over four £1 coins and asked the young lady if it was still £4 ? She checked her cash till screen and confirmed it was. 40 minutes later I ordered a second similar pint and handed over a £5 note. The same young lady went to the same till and came back with 70p change. As I say, this has happened on numerous occasions. Once when I complained I was asked if I was a regular and was then charged to lower price, It doesn't break the bank...just leaves a bitter taste in the beer !! As for the food, I have no complaints...pretty good value for money. Especially like their tasty chips.

I was a local for months I enjoyed Kareoke but when I came in for a drink with a friend I was told I was banned with no explanation why and the night before when I was as the pub three blokes gave me grief and I stuck up for myself and my friend even confirmed today the manager said you can come back in if you keep it cool. Today he had a change of heart! It really offended me ! Good riddens ! Do not go to this hotel! The staff are rude!
