We didn't book but only had to wait 20 minutes for a table so we had a drink in the bar and the time flew by...we had a lovely table upstairs...only the two of us but had a table for four so plenty of room...our waitress was called Kristie and she was excellent...she was very bubbly and friendly and very helpful when we were choosing our meal...our food was delicious and Kristie really looked after us from start to finish...we will definitely return very soon, Thank you

Stopped by for lunch today with my daughter and the food was lovely.

I experienced exceptional customer service from our waitress, her name was Kate she had blonde hair and was very attentive and even managed to get my daughter to eat her peas!!

She went above and beyond what was expected and feel she deserves some recognition so please pass on my regards!

Thanks

My partner and myself went to the hut Chandlers Ford last night, ( 6th of Feb ), & we had a fabulous meal the staff was friendly & didn't have to wait long between courses. We love eating there.

User

I always go here with my best mate every Sunday and the food is always marvellous! The service is great and they are very friendly.

Had a lovely two course meal with my two daughters and granddaughter. Food excellent and hot with an expected wait, not too long at all. Waitress very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Enjoyed so much have booked again for tomorrow night.

User

Had a great birthday party food and staff were very friendly and helpful 27 great meals food was hot when it came out so thanks to the chefs. And kristie the waitress was great.

User

Great food, service lovely staff especially Gemma she it a wonderful night thank you one and all...

We had never been to the Hut before but we found it very welcoming and the staff were very helpful and attentive. My first choice main was unavailable but there were other vegetarian choice so not a problem. All the food was presented nicely and was hot. Very enjoyable meal.

User

Haven't been for a while because its become to exspenive. 26th January we popped in and had the every day meals, mine was nice but my other half's meal could have had more pototes. The place is very nice, might be a bit too modern for us. Don't seem to have a enough staff. We had to wait a least 20mins for our meals, even though we ordered our food early, right on 12

User

We selected the festive menu. I had mushrooms on toast unfortunately the mushrooms were cold and bread wasn't toasted, this was returned as I was unable to eat it. The main was hot and wasn't too bad, choc orange sundae for Pud was a bit too rich in the sauce, Overall we enjoyed the lunch and the service was very good.

User

It's a shame I gave 3 stars as usually we have a great visit and have the waitress Yvonne who is just lovely and can't do enough for us. Also love the 'cool dude' manager who's just as attentive but yesterday we were seated upstairs and apart from receiving our food (after waiting 45 mins) we never saw the waitress again so forget getting a refill on our drinks. Desserts were awful! I had the trio of cakes which I've had before and were warm and fresh. The ones yesterday were dry and cold, the custard was barely above room temperature with a thick skin, definitely not worth £6! My sister had the brioche bread and butter pudding that came cold and stale with ice cream, she wasn't given the option of warm with custard until we saw the menu.

*Tip* try not to be seated upstairs as you'll never seen the waiting staff

I took my wife to the Hut for a birthday meal using a freebie we had been sent by Beefeater to celebrate the day. My steak was as I expected but my wife ordered her favourite Flat Iron steak which when it arrived it was virtually uncooked and due to the quality of the steak itself 90per cent inedible. The waitress was kind and gave good service and was very apologetic and arranged for my wife to have a free pudding having shown the offending steak to her manager. We have been to this and other Beefeaters on many occasions and enjoyed ourselves but after this experience it will be a while before we return after a meal we had been looking forward to was spoilt in this fashion.

User

Visited yesterday ,over priced average food. My King size garlic pan prawns where over cooked, hard and some burnt ...so no longer resemble king size ..more shrimp! My main of Steak and Pear salad..the steak was grizzle and chewy and the pears were really hard. My friends Beef and Cheese pie the pastry was dry and hard. As for the Gin and Tonic Trifle this tasted revolting..nothing like gin and tonic..left it. Very disappointed in our meals..would certainly think twice about going here again..even though staff were friendly and did compensate for the burnt starter.

User

Very slow for food to come out.. when it arrived it was all cold.. duo of beef hardly any meat and looked like it had been sat under a heating lamps for ages. Chicken breast was like leather and over cooked. No apology from staff for poor quality or delay even when food sent back.

User

Unfortunately the HUT as always was let down by the slow, barely existing service, not sure if understaffed but that can't always be their excuse! The staff are lovely when you see them, but don't count on getting endless chips as once you have your meal which on a bad night can take up to 45 minutes, they are never seen again!!!!

User

The minted lamb was chewy as was my steak. Don't even consider the gin and tonic trifle if you like gin and tonic. It was absolutely revolting made with half a can of tinned custard and dream topping. The flavour on the sponge was gopping... artificial and nasty.

The staff were helpful and friendly but that doesn't make up for at best, average food!

User

What an absolute shambles at The Hut (Beefeater) Chandlers Ford tonight.

We witnessed two elderly couples come in between 5.30 and 6.30 who had booked yesterday for tonight and there was no record of them on the system and no spare tables so they were sent away

We waited an hour for our meal, there seemed to be a ration on the daphonsise potato, had to search through the kale to find it:-(

We sat at a table when we arrived that had not been cleared so just before our meal arrived, my husband cleared it

It would be fair to say that everything about this evening was ‘sloppy’ and that includes the appearance of some of the waitresses, come on........ why have standards slipped so much?

User

Tried it for the first time today. Not impressed the food is highly priced and when my order came out it was wrong, sent back to be corrected only to be confronted with a cold meal. OK the manager did provide a refund for this but no offer of a replacement was given. Would defiantely not be visiting again and would not recommend it either. Staff didn't even look as though they wanted to be there either.

We have been to this and other Beefeaters on many occasions and enjoyed ourselves but after this experience it will be a while before we return after a meal we had been looking forward to was spoilt in this fashion.

Very slow for food to come out.. when it arrived it was all cold.. duo of beef hardly any meat and looked like it had been sat under a heating lamps for ages. Chicken breast was like leather and over cooked. No apology from staff for poor quality or delay even when food sent back.

Tried it for the first time today. Not impressed the food is highly priced and when my order came out it was wrong, sent back to be corrected only to be confronted with a cold meal. OK the manager did provide a refund for this but no offer of a replacement was given. Would defiantely not be visiting again and would not recommend it either. Staff didn't even look as though they wanted to be there either.
