Following a stunning sell out show at The Lights last December, Sound of the Sirens are back on 6 December. Their live shows are not to be missed - fabulous vocals and musicality and a natural connection with their audience make this a night not to be missed. Give them a listen and see what you think

User

Lucy and Carole are at the helm today if you are joining us for lunch - it is definitely the day for a nice hot bowl of soup or a freshly made toastie, all topped off with a delicious cup of Moonroast Coffee - or maybe even a lovely roll with a hot chocolate - the perfect spot for lunch

User

Dare we mention the word 'Christmas'?!?! We may not have panto at The Lights, but instead we offer a wide range of Christmas entertainment for children, adults and families to ensure you can all have some great experiences at your local theatre during the festive season. From hilarious versions of classics such as A Christmas Carol, to beautiful ballets like Beauty and the Beast. Fun singalong children's shows in Santa's Christmas Party, to rocking standing concerts with The Phonics. But always remember folks, a theatre is for life, not just for Christmas

User

If you love the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, then this is the show for you - Big Girls Don't Cry; Oh What a Night; December 1963 and many many more. Get booking for this fabulous show here on 7 December (a great Christmas night out for sure)

User

This is a lovely venue with spacious open areas around the ticket desk and the bar which are both staffed by very helpful and friendly people. There is easy access to the comfortable auditorium which has clear views of the stage and very good acoustics. Another benefit is the ample parking near the venue which is free in the evening and quick and easy to reach. This was my first visit but I will certainly be back.

The Lights offer so much for our local community from weekly classes, superb café, workshops, to amazing acts. With such a variety on offer for all ages, The Lights I consider is the hub of Andover for entertainment and social events. The staff are all very professional and friendly, I have experience of this from a business perspective and also social. So a big Thank you to all at The Lights, your hard work and dedication is very much appreciated. ;-)

User

The Lights is one of the best community assets we have left in Andover. It is well run, & provides something for everyone, at affordable prices. Long may it continue.

Saw Rebel Dean in his Whole Lotta Shakin tribute show last night in Andover. I'd seen a pilot run over a year ago in Southampton and was impressed then by his performance and the great band. Last night though was at another level. Backed by some different but equally talented musicians and now incorporating visuals, Rebel gave a very entertaining, informative and respectful tribute to Shaky. Kicking off with clips from 80s TV programmes he took me back to my teenage years. Musically the show started with the 3 non-christmas number ones, and then rewound to tell the story of the Sunsets era. It was great to hear songs including Sea of Heartbreak, Donna, Sea Cruise, Sweet Little Sixteen and I Hear You Knocking (the latter interestingly performed after Rebel talked about the A Legend album, but using the Now Listen arrangement). There were lots of great visuals on the backdrop of photos, tickets, posters, and newspaper clippings. The show then moved on through the Elvis musical and Oh Boy / Let's Rock shows featuring Elvis and Eddie Cochran medleys in the same style as Shaky's performances in those shows. The second half of the show was dedicated to the 80s era, with a great selection of hits and album tracks. Rebel's singing and movement throughout were superb, it really was like being back at a Shaky gig in the early to mid 80s. He also had great rapport with the audience, wandering the aisles shaking hands several times. The band were excellent, particularly the drummer and I was super impressed that the keyboard player was still a teenager. A fantastic evening's entertainment and highly recommended!

Saw Bon Giovi last night. Have seen Bon Jovi several times. Atmosphere just as special. Hits belting out. Venue superb with very pleasant staff 🤗👍

User

Great venue with a lot of space and better seating than many others.

Great venue and great staff - very happy to recommend as a good venue

User

Great show last night ! Wham tribute was amazing ... excellent singers and musicians.

User

Great place with lovely friendly staff. Comfortable seating with excellent views of the stage, and convenient parking nearby.

User

Fantastic local facility that I really haven't utilised anywhere like enough. Over the years that I have been I can say without doubt that every event has been well ran and the acts have just been superb. Recent events have been so professional and we're amazing tributes. Off there again in a few weeks so look forward to that.

User

Amazing venue. Very friendly and helpful staff. My fab friends The Supersonic 70's Show were playing there and they commented on how fab Rob, the front of house manager was and so accommodating. They provided the band with refreshments which believe it or not, very few theatres provide basic tea and coffee facilities so this was most welcome after a long journey! So good that they also encourage the taking of photographs (with the band's permission) whilst the show is on, as the majority of theatres across the country ban photos even if the band allow it!

I would highly recommend this lovely theatre.

Keep on supporting live music and support these fab venues...
